I have his chocolate shipped to my home and keep a significant stash under my bed. I cannot live without his product. So living a ten-minute walk away from this place was one of the best parts of my experience in Vienna.
It is a shame that this place, smack in the middle of the Naschmarkt, is rather hard to find and does little to stand out from the outside. There are way too many varieties for me to make recommendations, so be a little adventurous and get whatever sounds good to you; I guarantee you'll like it. My personal favorites, though, are the apricot-core Balleros, the dark-chocolate walnuts covered in saffron sugar, the Honigblättchen bar, ANYTHING with coffee, and the coconut nougat.
At a certain point, the staff already recognized me when I walked in and greeted me with a smile. I loved their ice cream, too, and especially the delicious toppings. read more
