At first I loved it my sons enjoyed going . You entered the building it was very welcoming, teachers looked like they loved being there . now my two sons were attending that I removed from this center due to cleanliness, Short staffed , curriculum not being done , they no longer where learning and this center is "NAEYC" so very disappointed! there were just playing all day . Breakfast/Lunch food still left on the floor or table past nap time Bathrooms with pee on them not being clean properly. My son started crying saying he doesn't want to go to school , voicing to me that he was scared . Started not to go in , giving me a harder time then he usual , It was no longer doing any good for my kids. Overall I was disappointed :( it was a good daycare at the beginning They are now an a different center (not Kindercare ) and both of them are expanding there vocabulary, learning a lot of new things . Meeting new friends , they have a routine there loving it. & they are no longer scared. Now all of us are much happier :)

If you are looking for a caring program with great teachers and a parent to teacher relationship this is the center! My daughter was also always sick and had diarrhea. The director Jennifer is extremely unorganized & when I told her about her rash she stated it was only brought to her attention once, like excuse me I shouldn't have to tell them about proper care. My baby was screaming by herself on a boppy while they were warming up her bottle. They could have held her while it warming up since the caregiver was not holding a baby. It took me a while to calm my, typically easy going and never cries baby. I finally got her to calm down and I left, thinking it was such a small window of time, that I need to give it another chance. I came back a few hours later. And again, my never cries, is good with strangers baby is scream crying on a boppy while the other caregiver is not holding any baby and keeps repeatedly shoving a pacifier in my babies mouth. She made no effort to sooth my baby. The caregivers seemed lazy and did nothing to help with my babies first day at daycare. I'm lucky that I could come visit and really observe, to see if what they said matches how they run the facility. I bet if the other parents could come see the crying, unattended children who are not being engaged, I bet they would find alternative care. We didn't go back, and I still get a pit in my stomach when I think of my little girl scream crying all by herself in a new place with no one to soothe her.

Everyone was friendly during the initial tour, but the reality was complete opposite, raising serious safety and quality of care concerns. The food they serve is ridiculous. They have a menu but rarely follow it. I've walked in at meal times and food is rock hard, cold, and super repetitive and rarely any proteins. Not to mention the portions are ridiculous. On top of that the facility consistently felt understaffed, children often left with inadequate supervision. I'm shocked how so many parents feel safe leaving their children at this facility.

I want to mention that people rarely write positive reviews, don't feel like it's needed, they more prone write negative. Please don't blindly follow, and do not ignore that there are hundreds of other parents who are happy, and of course there will be a few crazy moms who love to create drama for things that are not related to child care.

The process to transfer was painless; I didn't have to set up my auto payments again or anything. My child was warmly welcomed and had a very nice transition to the new teachers and new program (he graduated to toddlers). He is always very happy when he returns from Kindercare, always blowing kisses to his teachers, and seemingly having fun exploring the room when I arrive to pick him up. The center provides a nice, well rounded daily menu, as well as a structured curriculum for the children. During the summer they have "water days" where the classroom goes to play in the water on hot days. My son really enjoys it. The teachers are great, warm, friendly, and well educated/experienced in understanding the world from a toddler's point of view. Also, the center director and assistant director are wonderful. They are experienced in their profession and run a smooth operation. They are always attentive and strive to ensure that the children are happy. My child is very happy and so am I. :)

The other teacher (Mrs. Carrie) seemed to be going through the motions and she tended to characterize kids who were physically active as "problem children." And surprise surprise, most boys in class were problem children. I am glad that we left for another preschool in the area. Class sizes at Oakton are a bit too big to effectively manage that age group. Staff seemed stretched too thin and low on morale. I don't think they were compensated enough for this tough job.

I had gone to a couple of open houses and I didn't find what I felt was a good fit until I walked into the classroom at Oakton. I loved it right away! My son seemed to love it right away, too. Mrs. Monique, the director, gave us a tour and everyone was warm and welcoming. I got a sense of integrity, excitement, a strong sense of community as well as diversity in the classroom which were all qualities I was looking for! I also really like it being attached to the college and campus. Since then, my kids have really thrived at Oakton and we have made so many great friends and memories. I can't say enough good things about it! I hope I have more kids so I won't have to say goodbye after my youngest graduates in a year! So glad I discovered such a wonderful Early Childhood Education Center that gave my kids such a fantastic start!

My son had some emotional regulation issues and they were so accommodating and even worked with his therapist to ensure they were supporting him in the best way possible. The administration team is also amazing and often supported my son when he was having a hard time in the classroom, worked with me and his therapist to give him what he needed, and always responded to him with love and kindness. He has shown soooo much improvement this year because of their love and support for him. We are so grateful for our experience there and would highly recommend this place to anyone! Because if them, I feel confident sending him to kindergarten!

I am always told by someone who picks up the phone at your office that the Accounting Department is looking into it and that I will receive a callback shortly, but I have not received a single call back since the 9+ months that I have been trying to reach you. After not receiving a call back or a response by email even once after multiple attempts to reach out to you, I have decided to write to you on Facebook in the hope that this message might reach you. I am honestly frustrated with the lack of response from your office. I shouldn't think that an account closing process would be so difficult and drawn out. I running out of options on how to get this resolved. It is unfortunate that after being a family at Kiddie Academy for so long, we are being completely ignored when asking for our account balance to be refunded.
