She had such a good eye for detail and the magical ability to move our baby around with ease. We were very anxious to get our photos back and hoped that in our sleep-deprived state we weren't somehow over-hyping how great the photo session went. Luckily, Christine was able to turn around our photos to us in under 2 weeks and we were BLOWN AWAY with the results. I cried when viewing the slideshow and was so excited to download them all. Throughout the session, Julia made us feel comfortable (and less awkward) and made great recommendations for how to pose or stand. My husband mentioned how he could see the difference from the way she guided us through the poses. Also loved the time of day that was recommended (just as the sun was setting) because our photos came out so beautiful with the glow from the sun setting. She gave great advice on styling, answered our questions quickly, and made sure everything stayed on schedule. We were so glad that we did the ultimate package with Esther to have some Frozen theme canvas prints in advance so that we could decorate around at our birthday party! For this package, we got two-part services: 1) Pre-party session where we went to a park and took some beautiful sunset pictures with the family; 2) on the day of the birthday party, Esther and her team did a two-hour onsite session. All the party guests were so pleasantly surprised to see the beautifully enhanced Frozen background pictures around our house. At the 80-plus guests birthday party, Esther and her team arrived early to make sure they got to know the environment well. Update: Esther reached out to me asking me to remove my previous Google review because it made her upset, but failed to rectify the problem at hand. Initially, I found Esther on Facebook because she had a listing looking for male models to update her portfolio. It was a TFP (trade for print) opportunity. The only idea I had in my mind was a photoshoot of me in a green suit, which is for a suit brand that I work with. She also suggested that I do some shirtless pictures too, which I complied with. Seeing that it was her idea and not mine, we took pictures of both looks, but she only ever delivered me the green suit pictures. Even those pictures were subpar at best, she promised during our session she can edit them in certain ways that I liked, including editing the pointy shoulders of the green suit, but instead gave me a lazy delivery with little to no edits. After the shoot was done, I reached out to her multiple times very respectfully to see when I could have those shirtless pictures. Like I've mentioned before, she gave me very little replies and false promises of delivery, which never happened. To this day, I'm left confused and disappointed as to why she has decided to withhold those pictures from me. I've never had a photographer withhold delivery for almost 3 months since a shoot date before, even through the holiday season. Not even proofs were sent. It had to take me writing a Google review for her to reach back out, but instead of solving the problem, she doubled down with her refusal to send me those pictures. Since this was a TFP opportunity, it was unpaid for both parties, so my honest theory is that she doesn't care unless this was a paid client session. Which is disappointing, because it was her model call in the first place. She said she hopes I'm happy writing that review, but I find no joy in that. What would bring me happiness would be receiving my pictures.

She was so patient and kind that our daughter did not wake up the whole session. The pictures were amazing and people still talk about our birth announcement card. The second photo shoot was done with my 11 day old son and 2.5 year old daughter. Shirley was so good with my daughter that she asked if she was coming back for more pictures a week later. My son slept through the entire shoot :) The pictures came out amazing and really captured everything we were looking for.
