I constantly had to track him down. I was subcontracted to a team that was NOT experienced. They were learning on my project. The siding cuts were frequently NOT clean or straight. I had to keep calling the project manager to get several issues resolved, besides the bad cuts. They finally were resolved, but it was a battle. I wish that I had withheld final payment until everything had been resolved.

After an extensive interview process with multiple builders we chose Scott Murphy of Silvercrest Homes. Scott took the time to answer my endless questions and emails before, during, and after the building process. He provided me with details I was asking for and even snapped pictures and emailed them to us so we could make changes remotely. Amazing communication! I honestly don't think I ever waited more than one hour for him to reply to my messages. We just celebrated our one year anniversary of being in the new house and he continues to help us, as we've decided to add a deck. You'd be hard-pressed to find better customer service from a builder. We were a little nervous after all those home-building horror stories you hear, but it couldn't have been easier, thanks to Scott. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
