I recently worked on a project with Schmit Prototypes involving elements of mechanical design as well as 3D prototyping which far surpassed all of my expectations. I had an initial concept for a consumer product that I brought to them which required elements of artistry in combination with mechanical viability. Not having much background myself in either, I was only able to provide them with my own hand-drawn sketches of what I was looking for, and Schmit Prototypes quite literally helped me bring the idea to life in only a matter of weeks. Bryn was the first person I spoke to at the company from a Sales/Project Management perspective. Throughout the entire process he was very upfront and honest with managing expectations and keeping end manufacturing goals in mind, and he was a welcome source of advice along the way for such a novice entrepreneur. Following discussions with him, I worked with Thomas to create the designs, and I am so grateful to have been able to share in his talents. He displayed an unbelievable amount of patience even as I asked dozens of questions and requested numerous technical changes at a time. I also felt that he was truly committed to the project and took a tremendous amount of pride in his work, all of which is evident in our end result. Our prototype, in addition to being mechanically sound, is an aesthetically beautiful creation even beyond what I had originally imagined.
