I had my last one done by a doctor in Arkansas. That was a success done by Dr Peterson at UAMS. I highly recommend anyone with pain or wanting alternatives other than medications to make an appointment with him. You check in then they will call the person back to get them ready. It was an hour before they actually took for procedure. Absolutely nicest nurse Shannon, i believe,and everyone else too! When you go back through door for procedure area it's got numerous sections curtained off. You can tell they get you in and out. Our appt was at 11:45 and I think they are done for day around 3. The receptionist was very short with me and said they can't get me in for nearly two months. I asked for any recommendation or referral since it's a time sensitive medical emergency, but they didn't bother to help. I felt very uncomfortable and saddened by the lack of care in the conversation. They wouldn't tell me if this was a normal waiting period to get urgent care. I know our healthcare system is broken, but this seemed unusually cold and dismissive.
