This park is great for a stroll, people watching, or even a run (if you connect it with the…read moreadjacent park that goes into Sonnenberg). There is a stream than runs along the walking path and a pond that you can even take a rented boat out onto in the summer. It's very popular, expect to see a lot of people out especially on the weekends ending this space.

I would imagine this is an oasis for locals and tourists all year round and a nice place to go for a walk. It's not huge but big enough not to feel crowded. Dogs need to be on a line here which is unfortunate. In a way I was glad as there were a lot of geese and ducks that our dog loves to chase around, only because it's a new place;-)) I would come here if you are visiting town for a walk and spend some quiet time in the park. To one end of the park there is also a long trail that goes around a brook which is great for a longer walk or a run.

This is a beautiful herbal garden just outside the town on a sunny hillside. A quiet haven to sit,…read morestroll around, watch and smell the flowers and the shrubs. Beautiful view of the valley with the town in the hazy blue distance. A must. From here, walk down the street until you come to restaurant La Rucola, then follow the Bach to the left. Beautiful turn of the 20th century houses come peeping through the trees. Fianlly, you end up in the old Kurhaus Park with a pond, stately trees and English looking sloping meadows.
