Also the drinks at the bar were terrible. Overall I had a bad experience and would not stay here again or recommend anyone else to stay here.

The hotel was impeccably clean and you can't beat the location to shops and restaurants. The staff is the real reason I am writing this review. I do not speak any German but the staff, particularly Chris and one other woman at the front desk, were so kind to me, making me feel at home. The entire time I was there, I felt lost because the airline had lost my luggage. The staff seemed genuinely eager to help me, even offering to call the airline for me, and immediately updating me (by name) every time I walked through the lobby. The entire staff was incredible! (And Chris, I got my bag the day we left for Düsseldorf!) Thank you for having us and The Rilano is the only hotel I will stay in on our next visit to Cleve! We will be back! Thank you!
