We were the only guest in this small neighborhood tavern. The owner was extremely hospitable and offered us just one item before we accepted: steak medallions with mushroom sauce, salad and fries. The resulting dinner was outstanding. The salad was pickled beets, green beans and cucumber. So crunchy and sour! Excellent. It is worth a side trip to Apolda to eat here.
