Coming from a referral from a few mutual contacts, Ben Miller was able to come out and template, and have the granite countertops installed with an extremely reasonable timeframe. Thank you Ben for your professionalism, and quality installation.

We recently worked with ProTech Basement Solutions on a fairly large project for Mid Ohio…read moreInvestment Group, and overall it was a solid experience. The crew was knowledgeable and seemed to know what they were doing, which made a big difference given the scope of the work. One thing that stood out was that the owner, Chad Daniels, was accessible when needed and handled things professionally. It's not always the case that you can reach ownership directly, so that was appreciated. The job was completed as expected, and communication throughout was consistent. No complaints--we found ProTech to be a reliable company that did what they said they would do and did it very well. I highly recommend.

Several years ago, we were having trouble with the basement not settling right in our 1979 tract…read morehome. We had large cracks in the crawl space under our family room, and doors were not closing properly. As a matter of fact, this entire subdivision has been subjected to uneven settling. Some owners close their eyes, but we wanted to address the problem since we were not planning to mice Luckily, we had a contractor friend building in Columbus and Morrow County who highly recommended Chad and Protech. Chad offered several solutions. It did not come cheap, but when you are spending money, you want it done right. Fast forward several years. There was some water coming in the crawl space. Chad quickly saw the drainage pipe not taking the water from the roof into the street. He agreed that hubby could fix that. But we needed more of his special caulk to plug up new cracks. Out to Columbus, he came. Your service charge is applied as a credit to work done. I know nothing about basement work and am leery of those companies you see on late night television. But as previously mentioned, I have a contractor friend who builds houses. He has never steered me wrong. He highly recommends Chad Daniel's of Protech as the go-to person with basement problems.

This project has been in the works for almost four years. after a number of quotes and delays, I…read moredecided to start a new search. In the listing of the top ten companies in Pittsburgh, PA for deck building, I found Dutchmen Decks, LLC. Knowing the skill and craftsmanship of the Amish, I called and set up an appointment. I met with Brian, from sales, who was most pleasant, knowledgeable, personable and positive. We both looked over the existing structure which was quite unique. He assured me that they would know how to confront the issues and come up with solutions. He then worked up a quote which surprised me. It came in at five thousand dollars below any of the other quotes that I had received. The others never left me in a positive mood and were charging more. I actually even offered more, I was so impressed. I sent in the ten percent deposit to get things moving and soon the materials were delivered to my door. On day one, the foreman, Danny and two co-workers arrived and immediately proceeded to demolish the old porch. The next time I looked, half of the new deck was already erected. None of these three men were seen in conversation with each other with the exception of project inquiries, none of them were ever seen off to the side talking on a cell phone.....never. They worked non-stop, broke for lunch and were promptly back on the job. By the time the day was done, all that was left to do was the railing. They returned on day two to complete the project. The materials were most impressive. I expected 4X4's, I got 6X6's. For the railings, I expected 4X4's and 1X6's and I got 4X6's and 2X8's. I also went with a composite floor. When I toured the job with Danny, the foreman, I was literally speechless. I was so pleased, so happy at what I saw, it was emotional for me. I know, I know! But if any home owner has ever had great work done at your home, don't you feel great. You weren't ripped off, you weren't cheated or overpriced and the results just overwhelmed you? The company was great, the guys were great and the results were just beautiful.

My wife and I had gone to a local furniture store to purchase a dining room table, chairs, buffet and also a kitchen table and chairs. We found that what the store had available was not the size we wanted and that they could not special order what we requested. We went to visit Yoder's Oak & Cherry and were greeted by the owner Marvin Yoder. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We picked out the style, wood type and colors we wanted and he made everything to our exact measurements. We love our furniture. It is well made and exactly what we ordered. The cost was equivalent to the lesser quality furniture the local store was offering. Finally, the company Yoder's Oak & Cherry uses to delivery the furniture, JDB Transport, was fantastic. They delivered the furniture at the stated time, carried everything inside and assembled the different pieces. The young made who delivered the furniture could not have been nicer.
