Compared to two other large carpet businesses in the area, the quality of the carpet was right up there with the best and the price was equal if not lower than all of the others. I placed an order for my home. I'm telling you that the carpet's quality and padding shows up as a winner !! It looks smart and feels like a million. To top it off, the installer crew was very professional, answering all of my questions, moving all the furniture with care, and cleaned up to my satisfaction. The lead crewman Scott a gave me advice on cleaning up spills, etc. It's hard to judge quality from a "sample" in the store, but the owner was very convincing. He was right. To get quality and a good value is a home run. I have no affiliation with Jamison Carpets nor did I know any member of the staff there. I checked pricing and carpet offerings at four other large business in total. To keep costs low, payment is by check only. All old carpeting was cut and placed at the curb.

He was a down to earth, easy to talk to guy who walked me through carpet and padding selection. Gene gave me a guesstimate on the price but finalized the price when he came to measure the bedroom. Final price was almost identical. The installation price included moving furniture, removing and taking the old carpet and padding, installation and cleanup. Gene was on time, professional, and assured me that the installers were CERTIFIED installers. Lucky for me, there was a cancellation which allowed an earlier installation date. The installers, Adam and Daniel, arrived on time, got to work as soon as they arrived and laid the carpet to perfection....including a tricky installation in my closet that had built in closet storage. Good points: The showroom staff was helpful and polite. The showroom is open on select evenings and Saturdays which was convenient. There were multiple hardwood flooring brands available on display making it easier to find the perfect color and style for my project. Scheduling a quote for the project was easy. A person visited my home within a week of me asking for the quote. The quote was available in a reasonable amount of time after the house was measured. The price quoted to me was comparable to other flooring companies I had researched. Financing was available through Wells Fargo bank. The process to get the financing was simple and only required me to fill out a short form. Bergey did the rest of the paperwork for the loan and then ordered the flooring once the money had been approved by the bank. The installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of my property and belongings. They were respectful of my neighbors waiting until 8am to begin their work which limited the amount of disturbance to others. Not so good points: Although the entire process was seamless, I felt like I did not always know what was happening at any given time. It would have been nice to have a bit more communication between Bergey and myself. At times, I needed to chase for information. In my opinion, I should not have to chase for information. Bergey should have provided the information more readily instead of assuming I knew what was going on at any given stage of the project. I highly recommend using A.W.
