It's a great deal compared to what we pay at our farmers market and I found their batch to be more thoughtful- no green ones, minimal leaves, and not many I had to toss. That's a win in my book. Their blueberries were also juicy, firm, and tart. The best we've had and I believe was their Elliott variety. We also purchased their blackberries, the best purple plums we've ever had, some small yellow plums, and two jars of Queens jam for gifting (which we were told is loved by them!). Back to those plums though...do not skip! All in all the price was fair and wound up to about $31. We would definitely stop again on the way up from Chicago if we're early enough but definitely on the way back from metro Detroit. The staff was also helpful in choosing the best fruits. We were not let down!

The best part is that they have a great website where you can place online orders for pickup, which is very convenient for me since it is located between my home and work. The donut truck in the fall is amazing. The donuts are fresh, hot, and delicious. We also went apple picking there and found a nice selection of apples. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for yummy donuts, fresh produce and local products.

Parking was surprisingly easy, and once we got started, it was a block and a half of a good time. Now, we did not buy much, but we did enjoy seeing everything and talking to a few people. We were especially excited to buy fruit directly from the farmers! I got a bunch of peaches and nectarines, and let me say I have never in my life tasted such good fruit! I also tried the homemade strawberry & rhubarb pie, and bought the homemade honey with cinnamon. I also especially liked how the Farmer's Market overlooked Silver Beach. It was a nice time, and I look forward to going back before the Farmer's Market season ends this year! If you're looking for your standard market goodness, it can probably be found here. On top of that there's a few more unique vendors including a "Cheese Lady", chocolate covered bacon, Sinsational Cookies and more. If you're looking for fresh fruits and veggies, but someone else you're with just won't have any of those, rest assured they'll have a few sugary goods to select from as well. There's also a playground for small children on the backside of the market, which makes it easy to bring the family! This location is about 1/3 the size of the Bank St. market (from what I've been told) which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but may not be what some new folks might expect. The only downside to a smaller market is that there are fewer price points to select from for your produce. Other than that it's a great place!

My children were really excited for this, since it was supposed to be the highlight of the day. When we went to get them, the bins were already empty. No effort was made to refill them, even though we were at the very farm where the pumpkins were grown. Instead, staff only pointed people toward pumpkins for purchase, and the boxes for the free pumpkins were taken down well before the event was over. The event promised a free pumpkin for everyone, yet the farm clearly did not supply enough or make any attempt to ensure all guests received what was advertised. Families should not have to explain to their children why something guaranteed to every attendee was simply unavailable. If Landscape Forms paid for the pumpkin add on for the event, then they should be refunded because it was not fully honored. This was very disappointing and left a negative impression of the farm.

I thought it was charming that they had a self serve, bakery filled with things like apple cider donuts and a variety of cookies. The staff was all very friendly and the entire setting oozed fall energy. They offer a soup of the day, a variety of produce, regional alcohol, and some baked treats. The bathroom was also very clean.
