Moving onto the apple fry donut with cinnamon sugar. So fresh and delicious. It's a fry cake hence it's fried. But it's not heavy greasy taste etc. I bought some salad dressing and the frozen hand pies. Very friendly and helpful group. We picked up a variety of Edible squash, some fun drinks and checked out all of their fabulous bakery items. I thought it was charming that they had a self serve, bakery filled with things like apple cider donuts and a variety of cookies. The staff was all very friendly and the entire setting oozed fall energy. They offer a soup of the day, a variety of produce, regional alcohol, and some baked treats. For starters, there were lots of treats + coffee + food options aside from just produce, which is an easy way to pull a lot of people in. Nice local vendors as well, including one I have to shoutout here: ToadWorks Art. Not only was the vendor friendly, she made these cute little hand-painted frogs that my girls loved as souvenirs. My oldest left hers behind in the rental car on accident, and I messaged this biz owner and she sent me another one! Above and beyond. Additionally, there was good produce here, especially the berries. We even pieced together ingredients for an AirBNB meal: fresh pasta, tomatoes and basil for sauce, garlic, onions and green beans. It's conveniently in the heart of this small downtown, easy to access and easy to park. Loved the whole vibe here.

Baked goods go early in the morning but weekends (Fri-Sun) include donuts. Another reviewer will have to chime in about the Dole Whip soft serve. They do have prepared food items such as jams, dressings, honey, and salsas. Was the end of our visit to South Haven, so had picked up a few "ugly" ripe tomatoes that'll be eaten right away when we're home.
