I'm sure if we had said something she would have moved, but if you see us it would be professional to ask if you can help with anything and not look away and pretend we're not there.

We chose Pine Street for a full house remodel (replacing electric, plumbing, major structural…read morerevisions) of an historical home in the West Chester borough. Our primary objective was the highest quality work that would preserve the historical aspect of the home, but fully modernized and at the lowest reasonable cost. Nearly three years since we engaged them and we continue to feel like that was the best decision we could have possibly made. The essential things that made this experience wonderful for us, particularly as first-time home renovators, were the detailed planning and rigorous project management, the quality of craftsmanship and expert network, and the incredibly warm professionalism and care of the team. In sum, they delivered below our initial cost projections and ahead of time -- nearly the opposite of all the horror stories we've heard about some of the other crews. In the beginning, it was a very difficult decision to choose Pine Street. Their cost projections were higher than their competitors by A LOT. I nearly dismissed them because of it. But the level of detail and thoughtfulness in the bid really won me over. When I questioned competitors about some of the detail included in the PS bid, they would always respond that if that happened, they would need to increase costs, etc. It really made me worry about what final costs would eventually be and I ultimately chose PS for their transparency and integrity. Perhaps the best element of the entire project was the onsite project manager. This is a person who will be your main point of contact throughout, who will have all of the answers and will ultimately know your home better than you do. This is an enormous gift and a real relief in what would otherwise be a stressful time. Ours would call us proactively, make great suggestions and recommendations (things that you just don't know as you begin, but that are revealed as you get started). For example, he had a piece of reclaimed barn wood in his garage that he used as an accent piece in a stairwell or, in another case, was able to use parts of the existing rafters as trim in the bedroom. These little things feel brilliant when you're trying to preserve the feel of the home and keep costs low -- and these are simply things we never could have anticipated in the planning stage. This role in your remodel can really magnify the experience as a client. Another aspect to consider is that Pine Street has cultivated a network of people they trust over years of experience and working together. Every single person who came through our house was knowledgeable, respectful and responsive. The team would not have allowed it to be any other way. Further, at the end of the project, they gave us a portfolio of contact information for each person that had worked on the house, so if anything goes wrong or we need some additional work, we have a network of folks that know the house and that we know we can trust (and who, by the way, will be very quick to respond out of respect for their relationship with Pine Street). Finally, the part that is hardest to articulate, is the warm professionalism that the team brings. You'll feel it first with Brendon when you call with your first inquiry, but you'll leave feeling nearly astonished that the entire team carries it forward: problems will be addressed and solved before you even hear about them; the site will be clean at the end of every day without fail; the team will stop what they're doing when you enter to make sure you can see and understand the steps that are being taken (and they never got impatient with our very frequent visits). Again, all things we didn't know before we started but ended up defining the quality of our experience. It is an important decision to choose the right partner in these efforts. I can get easily stressed out by the volume of decisions that need to be made and was vigilant about costs and timing. The Pine Street team exceeded most of our expectations and left us knowing we made absolutely the right decision.

This was a big project organizing lots of materials, people--including us, the clients and juggling unexpected structural issues, so of course there were a few minor hiccups along with way and the project took a bit longer than initially expected, but this was in part because of change orders we made. All in all, a great experience. This was our first renovation and it was as painless as you can get. We've been recommending Pine Street for the high quality, good design suggestions and smooth process.

The first couch they delivered had holes in it, and it was nearly impossible to schedule the delivery of the new couch. We'd call, and they'd say they'd call us back in an hour, and it never happened. We practically had to force them to deal with us by calling repeatedly until they finally scheduled the delivery of the replacement couch. For this reason, we cannot recommend this store and will buy our furniture elsewhere in the future.

We recently completed major overhauls of both our kitchen and large upstairs bath, and Jen's guidance and support throughout - proved integral to our overall happiness with the outcomes. To touch on the obvious points of feedback first - (1) Weinstein's showroom is beautiful. It's always current, displaying the most on-trend designs, while also providing options at various budget points; (2) Their products are top-notch and built to last. After many years and failed experiences purchasing from big-box stores, only to have to replace faulty products within a couple of years... the investment in quality plumbing infrastructure and fixtures has proven itself time & time again - in saving money in the long run. Those items aside - what makes Weinsteins my 'go-to' is their incredibly knowledgeable staff & their customer-first business practices. Our family is THRILLED with the outcome of our kitchen and bath renovations - and Jen proved to be an integral part of the success of both. I can honestly say - major design & product mistakes & omissions would have occurred - had Jen not partnered with us throughout (and this was even with working with a top notch builder). She finds and creates solutions to make your visions come to life. As examples - after feeling frustrated that our new Thermador refrigerator did not come with a built-in, drinking water filtration system - Jen came up with the option of a separate, chilled & filtered drinking-water faucet & line - directly on our sink. This was a particularly tall-order to implement though, as we also needed the core system to work with the other plumbing fixtures already selected. Jen scoured her sources and found us two universal chilling/filtration systems - with infrastructure that would work with our selected Brio fixtures (and worked with her Plumbing Supply manager to confirm the solution's success with confidence). She provided a further design optimization solution in suggesting to our contractor that they install the base filtration unit on a shelf in the basement - to ensure we still had plenty of usable storage space in our under-sink cabinetry. Our builder, himself, was so impressed with the complete solution - that he later opted to install it in his own family's home. As another example of Jen's above and beyond design knowledge and expertise - her guidance ultimately led us to revamping the already set layout of our shower and entire bathroom. While picking the fixtures themselves, Jen questioned some of the details in the design - which led us to realizing that we ultimately had a less-then ideal design & were not optimizing the space to it's best potential; (And again - this was while working with a top-end builder who we equally respect and will always work with.) Jen just has a level of knowledge and expertise in the kitchen and bath space that is so valuable to any renovation project; And she goes above and beyond just "selling" - to really helping you create solutions that ultimately make your finished projects the best they can be. As a last point of feedback, all major renovations come with some issues. In the one instance where we had an issue with the plumbing hardware, several months after the kitchen was complete - Jen and the Weinstein's team managed it with a very customer-first focus. They provided a replacement product within days, and managed all of the backend warranty details with the manufacturer directly - not requiring our involvement in any part.
