I found the Rochester Indoor Golf Center. During my first simulator practice session I overheard a golf lesson being conducted in the next bay. The instruction being communicated was technically accurate, easy to understand, and being delivered by a professional golf instructor with obviously a lot of playing and teaching experience. Not a club pro or someone with a philosophy, but solid golf instruction and teaching experience. At the end of that first session I managed to schedule a lesson from Paul Pehler. I have had many lessons over the years with a lot of different golf instructors. I have never had a more enjoyable, challenging and productive golf lesson than what I received from Paul at Rochester Indoor Golf Center. The staff at Rochester Indoor Golf Center were all very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for simulator practice, real instruction, or equipment, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The greens are way slower than they used to be. I would estimate a stimpmeter rating of about a 5, which is way too slow. The staff seems friendly. The tee boxes are terrible. Some are being re-done, so you have a bunch of temporary tee boxes, but some that are regular tee boxes are clumpy, with big dead spots. Their TV ad is very misleading. Huge disappointment !
