On 4/10/2019 AJ was given a second check (the material had been purchased & install was supposed to begin). The job was to begin April 15, 2019 and finish May 20, 2019. It is now July 23, 2019 and the roof is still incomplete YET AJ was able to complete at least 6 other roofs on existing homes all while failing to show up at promised times to complete our client's roof. So, both structural integrity and the ability to complete the installation of a new roof were dependent on this project. Smith builders came out and took a look and led us to believe that they would be able and willing to get it done for us, even if we had to wait a few weeks. When we didn't hear back after a few weeks we checked back in. We called regularly, five or six times, only continuing to call because they kept telling us "oh yeah, we will give you a call back." ..."We will have Chris give you a call back..." It would have been kinder and professional to tell us up front that they were booked, instead of dishonestly stringing us along. Terribly frustrating on our end, not to mention risky both to our safety and our finances. We have found someone else and will not be dealing with this company again.
