I also love the monthly subscription option. it includes a bath, and any add-on services come at a discounted rate, which is a great perk. Another thoughtful touch is the report card they give after each appointment with an evaluation of how your fur baby is doing. The only downside was the pick-up process. It was a bit chaotic, with several people arriving at once, and for some reason, it took much longer than expected. They always cut and wash my Berne-doodle perfectly. He looks absolutely fantastic. The people in the front are really really kind and always helpful! The place is super clean and doesn't smell like dog at all The only one thing is that I feel like their prices are pretty dang high. Also I've never been charged for anal gland expression at a groomers. So that was a first. There's not enough room to say how much we adore and appreciate the team at Scenthound for taking care of Diggie Smalls & Bear. They go above and beyond in the care of our small puppies, even if Bear is kinda an a$$ and gives them a really hard time, they are still nice to him. One time a year or so ago, Diggie was squirming and the clippers nipped his ear. They called straight away to explain, and offer full refund, they were so caring and honest it was unbelievable. Now you tell me, in this day and age, what groomer would admit to this? None I have ever known. It wasn't even visible. I like this place, but the upselling needs to stop. I just had my dogs teeth cleaned at the dentist under anesthesia and they are still recommending plaque reduction in the scent check. Just cool it with the upselling. I assume the owners put a ton of pressure on the employees so I don't blame the hardworking groomers. I have taken my Schnauzer to a couple of places and they have either complained about her barking or shaved too close. Not Scenthound. I explained that she has boundary anxiety. Pretty much a Schnauzer expert gave Bonnie a chance and groomed her. I really liked the groomer. She had that same love of schnauzers that I have. While she was at her appointment, I received emails about what I should keep up on her. They have a monthly subscription service I would LOVE to take advantage of. The front desk is very pushy with you leaving them a tip. Tips are at the discretion of the owner. I have no problem tipping, in fact i usually do because of the service they provide but when i am pushed to do it, the more I dont want to. My kid picked up my dog one time and was asked to leave a tip so she said my mom will take care of it but the lady in the front was asking "well how much do you think your mom will leave for tip?" Just leaves a bad impression when someone talks to you like that. I have been going to this place since they opened and was never forced to leave a tip. Let us do it ourselves, we dont need to be asked nor do we need to be forced to do it. I do hope things change because the actual groomers are amazing and I'd hate to go somewhere else. Best place in town for your Furbabies! My Maltipoo is calm and himself when I pick him up each time. We signed up for the membership and will stick around! Please don't change anything! Brought our dog Kobe from when they first opened this location. Monthly cost is affordable for a bath,ear cleaning, teeth cleaning and nail trim. We send our dog twice a month and find it very convenient as we all know bathing a dog can be a workout. Love that they send notes with how their spa day goes and if there were any problems or concerns. Friendly staff and haven't had a problem since. They were not only welcoming and patient (my pup peed out of excitement, they didn't even make a fuss about it -- I WAS THE ONE UPSET) but professional as well. I was one of the first members. After several years, I cancelled today. Service has gone downhill. Doesn't matter what you tell the gal in front, those details never make it to the groomer. My puppies don't look good when I pick them up. Not even the right scent. She can't be a pet lover. She doesn't understand what's important. She told my sister her vaccinations were past due. DOG OWNERS BEWARE! You get what you pay for so stay away from Scenthound Rhodes Ranch. The first experience was great so we got the membership but that great service disappeared. The second visit was over $100 for 2 dogs to be bathed, dried, and brushed. My poodle came home wet and smelled like we dog and my Setter was wet and hadn't seen a brush. Their ears weren't cleaned as requested. Everyone has a bad day so because we had a membership we returned once again the following month. That was February 25. That day when I walked in I canceled the membership for my Setter as he's just too old and being in the car was hard for him. When I picked my dogs up there was a commotion in the back because my poodle was bleeding. A very snarky employee stepped out to tell me that my dog not only had an ear infection so she couldn't clean his ears, but that also I should have him seen for an infection on his foot. My dog didn't have an infection on his foot when we got there so ... Once again the dogs weren't well done and certainly not worth the $100 I paid. Once home I called and asked to cancel both memberships. As of today, May 19th they are still charging my card despite reaching out to them no less than 5x since February 25, 2022. In addition, my dog didn't have an ear infection like the snarky groomer suggested, but he did have a cut on his heel from clippers and the area had to be shaved and treated over the course of two weeks. Scenthound of course denies this. Please do better for your dogs. There are SO MANY local businesses in that area that groom dogs and are deserving of business, so use any one of them. Heck use Petco, but please don't get wrapped up in some cheap membership like I did. You will regret it. We now have to escalate this to authorities. read more

Appointment was made over the phone and when I brought my large dog to his appointment, the front desk could not find my appointment and treated me horribly. I have very mixed reviews about this place. The system is seemed to benefit dogs that don't require detailed grooming. We have two Doodles and they require a good brushing or they will end up with mats. So my hubby decided to join the monthly membership for bathing $50 and it cost an additional. $30 for combing and drying, which is cool. But our doodles didn't get a proper combing and came out looking like they got a blow dry only. It's hard to explain unless you have doodles. So basically this caused our smaller one to get a really bad mat in less then two weeks. Which they reused to bathe him, so the membership was proven to be useless. If a groomer is touching our dog at least every two weeks that should help with the maintenance. But it didn't, we sadly had to cancel and search for a new method of grooming read more

This place is great for my German Shepherd. She gets her monthly bath and then I'll add the blow-out, sanitary trim, and sometimes the de-shed treatment. I think if you're looking for a place that offers the basics to keep your loving pet clean at a reasonable price, this is the spot. I never have any issues booking through their phone application and the customer service is always great. My dog seems to do well here and her skin doesn't break out in a rash since they use non-perfume shampoo at my request. Glad I found this spot and hope they open up more locations! read more

Took my Dog here today and I have to say I'm really happy with the results. He came back smelling so amazing and his nails were cut perfectly. His teeth were clean very well and my dog was able to sit through the whole thing without getting anxious. They kept him calm and happy. Extremely disappointed in this place. We got my two Yorkies all checked in with the haircuts we like, which is a lamb cut (shorter in the body, longer on the legs) and a teddy face. Pretty standard for a Yorkie. Get a call back 15min later with the groomer stating they don't do those kind of hair cuts here. They only do puppy cuts, which is one length all around. I will not being going back to this place again. I still was charged $50 for baths! No one warned us when we dropped them off and they were already being bathed when the groomer called me, so I'm basically going to have to pay all over again for a legit groomer to give proper haircuts and grooming. read more

The front counter customer service here is lacking since we first became members. It is so hard to get someone on the phone now. The phone just kept ringing., so I tried to log in to the website for members, and it was very difficult to make an appointment online. I chose a time and date about 1 week away along with the services I needed for each dog, and they text me the next day that the time I chose wasn't available! (Then why was it an option?). So through text we tried to find a good time and it just wasn't working out. In addition, at first I thought this place was a good deal. We got the membership and paid $25/month for monthly basic grooming for our 2 dogs. However when you want to add another service such as deshedding or a haircut, which doesn't come with the basic package, then you have to pay additional. For us, it always ended up coming out close to $100 out the door, which is the same as we were paying at the other grooming places. I ended up canceling our membership. I still gave 3 stars because the actual groomers are usually on point and do a good job. read more
