After putting in my application, everything seemed to go well at first, with my work and references being checked. They required I have a cosigner, which I was also fine with. However, I had some trouble getting someone over the phone as did my cosigner and her references. The breaking point was when one of their representatives lied to me, telling me that my application was denied due to them not being able to get in touch with my cosigner's personal references. Now, being denied isn't the issue, but the dishonesty about something I can easily check just by asking around is unacceptable. I don't recommend renting through this company, I wouldn't trust them to be honest with you either.

My daughter and her friends were interested in renting a property and we were sent a link and told…read moreto fill out the application form and that a $50 charge per person applying and their parent or co-signer was due. Then one week later we were told that the property that they applied for is no longer available and they would not refund the total of $300 in application fees they had collected. They said it could apply toward another property. This was not on the form and never explained. I have the texts to prove it. We are not interested in any of their other properties. I have called and left a message for Abigail but have not heard back yet. This constitutes a breach of trust and may be a criminal offense but at the very least we will be pursuing this in civil court if our money is not refunded.

I had found Melinda online to help me sell my 20 years old rental property in Columbia, SC. During the preparation process before the sale, Brian, Melinda's husband had also offered me a lot of help and great advice as well. They really lived up to their stellar reviews. I am so grateful from the bottom of my heart for all their efficient, kind and caring assistance. My situation was not easy because I am located out of state. By the time I decided to fire my irresponsible, unreliable property manager and to put my property on the market after it was vacant for over 5 months; I had already spent at least $20K to repair and install new floorings on it and had had many sleepless night over this property.  I was not sure what condition my property was still in and extremely worried that there would be more expensive repairs needed.  From the moment I received all the pictures Melinda had taken and her recommendations on what needed to be done on it, I was completely put at ease and knew I could totally trust her. Melinda helped me get a locksmith to rekey the door locks, find contractors to do needed repairs and minor upgrades to it, recommended which light fixtures to purchase to brighten up the property, efficiently and seamlessly overseeing the entire process. Melinda and Brian had also gone above and beyond, tirelessly worked on several projects themselves to save me money. Therefore I did not need to spend more money to replace the 2.5 yrs old dish washer, several doors and many other items.  The first buyer made an offer at full asking price and there was no additional repairs needed by the inspection report, so the property was sold very quickly. I don't have enough accolades or words on how great Melinda and Brian were, whatever the house needed they knew exactly what to do as well as giving helpful advice. They were Godsend during a difficult and stressful time, I urge anyone who is in the market for a real estate agent to employ their services.

Wilson and Kibler is highly responsive to both owners and tenants. After reading BBB reviews and…read morechecking with local businesses, we chose this company to work with our mother. They seem to have the best reach in the multi-state Mid Atlantic area to find niche tenants and make the best fit for property owners. Julian Wilson and Lee Bussell did a superb job marketing for us and finding high quality very long-term commercial tenants making the perfect match for them and for our mother (owner), even though her property is unique. They did this in less than 2 months. Lee Bussell, realtor at Wilson and Kibler, now manages her small commercial tract and warehouse in Lexington County. His long lasting professional relationships with contractors, local permit providers such as DHEC, and other important connections allow our family to live in Arizona worry-free. He oversaw a massive 400 foot deep water well drilling and installation at our site for us even though we never left Arizona. He kept us posted on every stage of the huge job and advised us throughout while addressing the tenants needs. We have a hassle-free arrangement and know that Mr Bussell handles lots of things behind the scenes. When something is major, such as a climate event effecting the property, he has the discernment to handle what he can and should handle on his own and still knows when it is necessary to involve our family. He never seems to overstep nor under perform. We could not be happier. Eleanor C.

I was told by the supervisor that our apartment looked great. His biggest concern was the carpet. The people who cleaned carpet were their carpet cleaners; my husband was there when the carpet cleaners arrived he didn't deep steam the carpet correctly. It's not our fault, they want to charge us for a refrigerator replacement. We were there 3 years, things wear and tear. They kept all our deposit and want to charge us $200.00 more. We had that apartment cleaned, window panes, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. They will keep your deposit, I was warned by residents there that moved out. God sits high and look down, see everything that goes on.
