It's inside a large newsagents so if you've got kids with you be prepared for lots of 'I want, I want' as it's full of sweets and toys. There are often large queues, which aren't helped by the fact that the staff seem to spend quite a lot of time talking to each other rather than serving. Not always, but enough times that it becomes an annoyance for regular users. Bizarrely, the nearest Post Box is a few hundred yards down the road, so either hand letters in over the counter or take a bit of a walk after you've bought your stamps! If you're an Ebayer in the area, I'd much sooner recommend taking a trip out to Scawby where the service is absolutely excellent and can't be faulted in any way.

After i asked them to check it didn't fit into the large letter size (which it did) i was met with rudeness and hostility by the staff member. Also with proof of postage, the receipt tends to be printed with the postcode and house number, at this branch they hand write these on, which makes them next to useless! A practice i am yet to see at any other branch! I would recommend any other branch over this one!

The Post Office and KeyStore convenience store and newsagents has recently changed hands, much to applause of the local community. The new owners are family run and are friendly and polite. The store is in the middle of updating. The new owner ran Better Butties on Denison road that had a great reputation for quality take-away hot and cold snacks and sandwiches. Within the Post Office & KeyStore there are two Post Office counters; a fair sized general store, with freezer cabinets and fridges for fresh food. Hot pies and pasties are sold at lunchtime with the introduction of Hot sandwiches and salads in the future.

Be careful as tickets are often issued! The post office has two counters and although small caters for the locals needs. There is a convenience shop with the post office that offers an extensive range of foods. You can find all your basics like bread, spuds, eggs and milk as well as fresh foods. There is a wide range of magazines and comics for the children and a couple of freezer cabinets and chilled counters too. Local papers and magazines can be delivered from this Post Office. The staff are friendly.

Whilst it has all the usual items that you might go to a Post Office to find, envelopes, jiffy bags, stationary and so on, it also has the worst some of the worst queues. I literally used to shiver with dread anytime I made an ebay sale thinking that I'd have to mooch down there and waste an hour in those awful queues, packed in with all those grumbling bodies. There was the occasional quirk, I found some comedy gold in the form of a silly compilation CD that I put in a parcel for my friend for £3, but other than that there are merely the horrid queues! It is situated opposite Tiger Tiger, it is a part of the St Johns Centre shopping mall and it is literally right next to one of the major bus stops in the city centre, which may go some way to explaining the high volume of customers! Although, on the flip side, it means there is really easy access. Essentially, it does everything a Post Office is supposed to do, it's just not that much of a pleasant experience whilst you are doing it.

There's a large grocery store to the front which is handy as it's a fairly small village, and a good enough sized Post Office to the rear. They seem to be quite professional in there - uniformed staff who know what they're talking about, and I've never had to queue for too long to be served. It's just a couple of minutes off the M180 so quite handy if you need to get to the PO on the move. It's on the main road through to Epworth, and there's enough parking at the front.

It's a really standard Post Office, it's normally quiet when I go in so have never had to queue and am normally in and out within 2 minutes if I just have something to send off. They sell a small range of things there, I think just like envelopes, jiffy bags and confectionary but I've never really looked much at what they sell. There are several counters and when it's busy they do open all of them to minimise delays. The staff I've dealt with in this branch on my many visits with mountains of Ebay parcels are always fast, efficient and knowledgable. The shop itself is clean and well located next to the bus station and main pay and display car park.
