Following several second floor plumbing leaks, and an attempted repair by an overconfident…read morecontractor, my dining room ceiling was pretty messed up. I kept ignoring it, figuring it would cost a fortune to fix. Finally, after a couple of years of looking the other way, I phoned "Mr. Stucco" and "Les" came to my home, covered everything with plastic tarps and proceeded to cheerfully fix it. By the time he'd finished, you'd never know there was ever any problem. The ceiling looked new: fresh, white and perfect. Les cleaned up everything, so it was like there had never been a mess. I was so pleased! And it didn't cost nearly what I'd imagined. It was around $700, and worth every penny.

The initial meeting went so well, I went straight ahead with the project. I really appreciated the design process, and they were very accomodating with my special requests. The trades workers were very skilled and extremely professional and were able to solve the inevitable hiccups in any project. They took great care to protect my flooring and furniture. Very high-end furniture boutique. They have a selection of chairs made in Europe 100% made of…read morebeachwood, that are also completely customizable with fabrics and wood finishes. These chairs would range from $800 to $1000 each. They are absolutely gorgeous and the exact ones you'd see in pages of architectural digest. You can almost feel the heft and quality the moment you sit in and touch these chairs. All the base models of the customizable chairs are available and on display at the back of the store. Pieces available here were truly works of art. They are unique and luxurious. The kinds that you would walk in to a 5 star european hotel and go 'wow'. However, they are not 'universally appealing' or 'easy, accessible design' so to speak so the items here could be hard to appreciate if you aren't really into art and design. I like to think this store would be able to furnish some famous Parisian architect's house or items you'd see in a Balenciaga store.. Or some really well-traveled billionaire's house. Edgy, trendy, unique, oh so chic. 1 star off because prices are high!

It turns out the company blocked me from their social website for indicating discrimination under the Ontario Human Rights Act. They discriminate potential customers based on age and status. They discriminate potential customers wearing COVID-19 masks and follow the customer in and around their showroom without acknowledging their presence. They dismiss potential customer inquiries all together and do not conduct the necessary follow ups as indicated by the customer. I visited their showroom at the end of 2023 requesting for a writing desk with specific dimensions. As a result, the associate or owner I conversed with insisted he would follow up regularly. All communication ties were cut after my initial visit and made a conscientious effort to stay in touch with them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANIZATION TO THE COMMON CUSTOMER. CLEARLY, THEY DESIRE SPECIFIC CUSTOMERS SUCH AS INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND THEIR CLIENTELE. AS A MARKETING INSIDER WHO HAS TRAINED AND OFFERED SOUND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MANY COMPANIES, "PLACE PEOPLE OVER PROFITS FIRST!!!" SUCH A SHAME THAT CANADIAN COMPANIES DISCRIMINATE YET USE BUZZWORDS SUCH AS "BUY LOCALLY, SPEND LOCALLY!" TO LURE THE CANADIAN CONSUMER TO SPEND. SUCH A PITY!!!!
