The staff are wonderful people, very supportive and loving. Our oldest has a student:teacher ratio of 4:1 and our youngest 9:1. There is so much individual attention given to our children by adults who are Christian examples and who are really rooting for their success, it's no wonder that the school has grown from around 35 students a couple of years ago to over 70 today. She absolutely loves her class and says her teacher is the best teacher she has ever had. Of course, I had to share this with the school. Her writing and reading have increased exponentially. She has slightly more homework than her last school, and it requires a parent to be involved in the home learning process. They use classical education versus CORE or Beka, which is far more advanced, demanding, and structured. Grades are broken down into Pre-Grammar, Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. My daughter is in the pre-grammar stage. Then in 3rd grade she will enter Grammar. 5th, she will enter Logic, and I believe Rhetoric begins in 9th. Grades are broken down into stages. It seems difficult at first, but when you understand how it works, you will marvel. They begin Latin in 3rd and end in 8th I believe. Then they will touch on Greek in high school. They study the classics and will have strong presentation and debate skills by the time they depart for college. This is a K-12 school. The school was amazing but maybe not the teachers they hired... when I was in 2nd grade my teacher…read morems h we will call her, was TERRIBLE on the first week of school she screamed at me for I don't remember why but my dad had to come in and talk to her. this happened frequently and it was traumatizing, she was so mad at me sometimes she didn't even want to deal with me so she would constantly rush in the counselor while I was in tears. i was also a very sensitive kid in 2nd grade. but she had a lot of favoritism. onto another teacher there was one in 4th grade, we will call him Mr p and to my understanding he was a pain, No pain is an understatement, he did so much bad things, though I was not in his class my friends suffered there, he would not let the girls use the restroom period. My friend would use it anyways and get referrals for using the bathroom. I also heard rumors about some things I should not talk about on here, over all if your kid is talking about a bad teacher listen to them, I'm not sure but some of the teachers they hire are how I explained them and maybe worse. My experience here was okay but I would not bring my kids here.

This is also a playground review…read more.... We take our toddler here, to "rocketship playground" as he calls is, and he loves climbing up on everything. There are swings, slides, a merry go round, a seesaw, tunnels, monkey bars, a running track, basketball hoops... Also a covered/shaded area and benches to sit on. The only downside is there are NO drinking fountains, so come prepared with your own water on those hot days.
