I haven't been to a Scandic hotel for a while now but this one has all the same qualities that I remember them having. The lobby is bright and inviting with a large bar (which is well stocked with local brews) with plenty of comfy places to sit and chat. The resturant staff are very helpful as all the staff have been, although house keeping do come around by 8am so if you need to sleep a bit longer use the signs provided in your room!! My bedroom, whilst overlooking the car park, was spacious with a comfortable bed!! No tea or coffee making facilities though :0( The shower area could use a refresh in my opinion as the main room area has a funky feel to it whilst the shower room just feels old. Free wifi is available throughout the hotel and it has good down and upload speeds. I think because of its location it is more of a business hotel and it certainly has plenty of large meeting spaces and smaller break out rooms and comfortable areas to just sit and relax or chat. read more
