Conveniently located within downtown Atlanta . There is a Train station nearby which takes you to airport and other places south bound . Parking is a bit wierd inside the campus for visitors . There were photos of students and Ron on the walls. The event was a masquerade ball and the atmosphere was just right. The decor was beautiful. There was also musical entertainment. Probably not employed where I am. Yes, some of the classes were less than riveting (accounting and finance just aren't my favorites), yes, the group projects were a major pain in the butt to coordinate and carry out on top of readings, classes and extracurricular activities like having a life, and yes, Emory is not a cheap way to get your education. However, without the resume critiques, class speakers and professors with real world experience and connections, presentations where we had to look "business professional," and numerous gatherings set up to network and add impressive sounding clubs and titles to your resume, I don't think I'd be where I am today. I actually learned a lot during my two years here that I feel prepared me to go out and find a job in corporate America and make a living. As opposed to being a classics major with a minor in basket weaving, and moving back home after graduation to live in my parent's basement. And I did enjoy a good number of the classes (mostly the marketing ones), and I had my best semester of college while I was here. It was my spring semester of junior year and I managed to snag myself a coveted spot to go on exchange to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Without a doubt, the scariest decision I ever made, and the best time I had all through college. And if I hadn't gone to the business school, such an opportunity would not have been available to me. During that 4.5 months in Asia, I developed a love for a city outside the US, traveled to places and had experiences I'll never be able to recreate and met some of the most amazing people I've had the good fortune to encounter. I swear, by the end of the semester, I was ready to quit school, learn Cantonese and try to get a job living and working in Hong Kong. It was that good. It changed me forever for the better, and I'll be grateful for that opportunity for the rest of my life. Agreed, there are many things wrong with higher education (most notably the heinous prices they put on the more prestigious and private institutions), but I have to say that the skills I learned and the polish I acquired at Emory's Goizueta Business School were, in my opinion, invaluable.

The students look forward to coming to school and are enthusiastic about learning in a visual language. Educators use specific strategies to help students with language development and learning in content areas. They have a department called the Accessible Materials Project, which translates books into ASL, while using captions and voice interpreting. They make these materials accessible to parents to help them learn ASL along with their child. This project also teaches them strategies to use with their child to help with their homework. These materials are projected on large TV screens at the school, which give students more opportunity to see materials presented in their first language.

This semester is the first that it has been open continuously from 8 am to 7 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8 am to 5 pm on Fridays, and they just purchased a new, larger refrigerator, which means there are even more 50 cent sodas available. They've also increased the number of snacks they sell dramatically, adding more candy, chips, gum, and other bagged snack options (ranging from 50 cents to $1) as well as a freezer case full of microwavable food. You can even purchase Muscle Milk or Emory Law gear as well. Come with cash and have it ready at hand so that you don't hold up the line!

The instructor Mr. McCall thoroughly taught the course and was very knowledgeable and detailed- oriented. He entrusted us with the equipment and made sure we had a clear understanding of how to inspect, drive, and be safe in our working and with our peers.
