When it comes to overpriced pizza, Sbarro is the place to go. I think calling it overpriced is pretty fair - I mean, 100 pesos for a slice of their bare-bones thin crust cheese pizza that's not exactly anything special in my book. However, I think that the thing about Sbarro is that the more expensive down the chain you get, the more decent of a pizza joint it gets.
Once you get to the more expensive, thicker pizzas, you begin to kind of get why they're prices like that. The real deap-dish pizzas are pretty damn tasty and have a lot of flavor to them, but at the lower price points, Sbarro's pretty bad. So for me, if you're looking to get some Sbarro just go all out and buy the thick motherfuckers with all the toppings. Avoid the thin ones: they're kind of disappointing, given how much you paid for it. read more
