After working with them a year ago to try & get things normal, I had an accident & have just now been able to reach out. The system just doesn't work correctly. We moved in this house as new & the system worked fine. Understandably about 13 years later we had to install another one that Benson installed & it worked fine. Our system Barineau just installed has been nothing but problems. If you're too warm you need to go to the other side of house, too cool go to another room. They added another vent (wanted us to pay part but we didn't) in our bedroom because the heat & cool wasn't working correctly. Now it is either too cool or too hot. I don't understand why their new system can't work as good as the other two systems that were put in our house ??? I feel like the whole system needs to be taken out & re-installed. I've never had or heard of a new system not being a constant air flow throughout the whole house.

The inspection took less than 15 minutes and they charged $150. The technician did not even look at the outside fan of the unit. We were told that we needed a new blower engine totaling just under $3,000. The technician told us we could call the office to talk about financing options (as advertised on their website). Upon calling the office, the owner said that there were no financing options available. We decided to continue with the service and pay the amount in full upon completion. Despite having been told that payment is due upon completion of the repair, when the technician arrived, he stated that we would need to pay before he installed the new system, per the owners, because we were "wishy washy" on the phone. I asked the technician to leave my home as we would not be paying for a service before it was completed and tested. The behavior of this company and the owners is suspicious and unacceptable and would not recommend them to anyone. Although the lack of financing was disheartening, the greater issue here is the inadequate diagnostic inspection and their demand for payment before beginning, installing, and testing the system.
