Many of them have utilized the home services provided by Home Instead and I always hear reports about the wonderful assistance Susan and her team provide, and how amazingly helpful and dedicated they are. For these families who are dealing with the devastating effects of dementia, finding competent and caring helpers means everything. Based on their consistently positive feedback I continue to recommend Home Instead home care services to my clients. They deserve quality care and I am confident they will receive it at Home Instead.

The staff at the office I work from care not only about our clients but about me as a caregiver. I am challenged to do my very best for them with each client I am given. They encourage with help, understanding and great thought on how I can benefit from being their employee. I love the work and I love the clients. They are committed to giving our clients A+ care and as a caregiver I am well informed and equipped with the information and skills that are updated as needed to give our clients the best care they deserve. I have encouraged many friends to give Home Instead a try not only for a great job but also as an opportunity to get great care for their loved one. Some have joined the team and are still working for Home Instead. Others have contacted our office and their loved ones are receiving the care we offer. As a footnote I have gained many friendships and been regaled with the most interesting stories from a generation of people who have probably experienced the most change in our world. It is a pleasure to help our clients and its truly a joy to work for Home Instead Senior Care. Marsha McCook

Maravilla does not know how to do pastries, and deserts are often very disappointing. As a rule, vegetables are undercooked. Maravilla business practices are somewhat unfair. When one is absent for two weeks or more, one gets vouchers for half the meals that one missed. Why not all of the meals? And, why does one have to be absent for two weeks or more? Overall, I'd say that Maravilla does not offer good value for the money.

Six months later that fee is no longer in existence. They debited that amount over those six months for that I cannot understand that I received. When I looked it up on their website, it said such fee was for or memory care, but I was in independent living the entire time. During my time in the independent living building, I was paying an additional $8800 a month on top of that $50,000. As such they were charging me another $7500 a month for services that I did not receive. I am leaving the facility this month and moving to a better place called the fOremin Cupertino, California. However, the value and will be sold when and if I die or going to supported living. Overall, Maravilla zest program had very little of interest to an educated, professional male such as myself. I believe that Maravilla is no country for old men. The ratio of females to males is approximately 8 to . Finding a peer group is very difficult if you have your cognitive abilities. I would not recommend Maravilla to anyone who is concerned about a continuity of care. It is very slipshod in regards to moving from independent living to supported living or memory care. Finally they do nothing to screen the clients upon admission. This is very different from what I went through to get into the Forum in Cupertino. I had to go through cognitive screening, submit, extensive health records and financial records. From what I've seen the SRG group that runs Maravilla is interested in getting your money ASAP.
