I've seen how they put off clients and help them last minute. They are very disorganized and don't seem to remember who they are even helping. I was very disappointed. I contracted with this law firm to help me with my mothers' estate. She passed away in June of 2023 - in March of 2024 I paid the estimated inheritance tax and was told it would take about six months to get the reply. In September I started to follow up - no response, again in October - no response. Then in November I contacted the state and found out NOTHING had yet been filed!!! In December he finally contacted me and apologized for the delay. He said we could do a partial distribution to the beneficiaries which we did. I assumed he would file the paperwork with the state. That was January of 2025. I followed up in June - nothing, then finally in September of 2025 we finally got the response from the state. And Atty Mitchell charged me around $1400 for the partial distribution which would not have been necessary if he had just done his work in a timely fashion!! No personal responsibility taken for his failure to promptly perform his job. I DO NOT recommend this law firm. read more

Don't waste your time with this wanna be law firm. They wasted over a week of my time answering ridiculous questions trying to work their angle around asking for a retainer. They had no interest in the case But plenty of interest in charging my credit card. In the end, they were not even staffed or equipped to handle this type of case, don't waste your time. read more
