Regretfully, it was Linda's / ABA&B's turn. We spent $130. After the funeral, Dad held out his hands in the shape of a volleyball; said it was only that big. Nothing lovely, just perfunctory. In the past, we have received arrangements from ABA&B with wilted flowers and simplistic styles. You can buy better at any grocery store for a fraction of the price. We recently had a parent of a friend pass away in Cloverdale so I called to order flowers. I've never seen any of their work previous to the arrangement sent to the viewing. Our Nephew took a photo and sent it to me since we couldn't make it to the funeral. I have to say for what I paid I was very disappointed. I always say designer choice because you never really know what flowers they have. The balance of this arrangement is all off , and color choice depressing. You never put heavy flowers above lighter ones. I worked in floral design 15 years and I still do silks. Not sure I'd use Silver Bell again.

I called Anker as they are located in the town where the funeral is held. I apologize, I do not remember the names of the women who assisted me. First phone call she knew about the funeral and had other arrangements for the service which gave me a sense of 'being in good hands' and one less thing to think about. She offered me suggestions on types of flower arrangements and price ranges and I told her I'd pass on the information to the other family members and call back. Choices include a wicker basket filled with live plants and fresh flowers for the family to take home, a bouquet in a vase to take home, or a cemetery bouquet that is left graveside. After conversing with family, and realizing many people attending are coming in from out of town, we chose the later. I called back and a second woman assisted me with style (cemetery), price point, reminded me of taxes and delivery fee (thank you!) and color preference. Both these women were *very* patient and sympathetic and so very helpful. I can't thank them enough for helping us. I saw here on Yelp they would send a pic and so I asked if they would text me so that I could share it (here, and) with the family. We are so pleased with this beautiful bouquet. The florist used a variety of symbolic 'funeral' flowers and it is a colorful celebration of life. I am very happy to recommend Anker Florist. The staff are so helpful and the final product beautiful.

There was no delivery confirmation, and my mom had no idea the flowers had even been dropped off--they were left where she didn't see them. I reached out to the florist via email and never received a response, which made the situation even more frustrating. Communication is key for something as time-sensitive as a birthday delivery, and this completely missed the mark. Because of this, what should have been a special moment was overshadowed by confusion and disappointment. I would not recommend based on this experience.
