I didn't know it was located at Hawaii Self Storage(behind Costco), they will give you the number to get in & take a left right after the gate. The shop is in the far corner. Good thing my grandson got to try some on to make sure the pants fit. Lady was nice & helpful, place looked small but was sort of big inside, somewhat organized but you have to make due with what you have! Last pants so I got it! Go check them out if you can because they're open early! I'm not sure about the cost of those pants what's considered expensive or cheap all I do know is that I found one! YAY!

Kipp took a look and said he could fix everything for cheaper than I was expecting. He said I'd just need a new cassette for the gun cause the mech was bad (I was expecting this) but when I came back after he was done he ended up changing out an entirely new handle with all the parts - didn't charge me extra for it, kept it at the agreed price for work, waived the labor fee's for cutting off the ruined fixed spear head and attaching on a new replaceable one for my 3-prong, and gave me a discount. So stoked that this old stuff is like new again and is ready for plug some fish once again after how bad it looked when I brought it in. Kipp & Irie were real nice and helpful. If you've been around the diving scene for any amount of time, you already know about Hanapa'a…read more These guys are the OGs. I've been dropping by every time we're back on the islands for over 20 years, and it's still the first stop off the plane. I will say though, service can be a little rough sometimes. Some days are good, some days not so much. But honestly, that's never been the point of this place. You're not coming here for some polished haole sales pitch of some sort, you're coming because these guys know what they're doing and they'll get you what you need so you can get back in the water. And that's where they really shine. Need a j tube? They've got it. Need a new band? They can fab it up in like 5 minutes so you can still make it to the spot on time. They almost always have exactly what I need in stock and at a fair price. You'll see some of the best divers in the islands and honestly, some of the best in the world just casually stopping in. The shirts and designs are also totally underrated. They've got their own local style and I've of course picked up a few over the years and they hold up good. Hanapa'a is one of those rare functional places you can always rely on. it's rooted in the community, and it delivers when it counts. If you dive, you already know. If you don't, this is where you start. Just don't be a Karen and you'll be good.
