The snails were a little chewier than I had in France, but that's to be expected. The way the little layer of puff pastry soaked up the garlic butter more than made up for it. The cheese was the icing on the cake, er, snails. The walleye was some of the best I've ever eaten. It was perfectly cooked, and a real treat. It had loads of flavor, a touch of heat and was absolutely delicious. I loved the Tortino! It wasn't a big dessert, but it didn't need to be. Big on chocolate flavor and the hazelnuts were a delightful additon.

We had the whole roasted Russian River Trout and Teriyaki beef tips. Started with the warm marinated olives. I'm very objective and have to say the trout was the most superb meal I've had this year away from home. I had to ask how they sourced the fish because I was amazed at how clean, fresh, and flavorful it was. We are both lifelong foodies and skilled cooks so the whole dish service was exciting and not commonly done. The staff were also handling a wedding on the rooftop, but service was excellent regardless. Our waitress really listened to everything we said and ensured our food was served as we preferred. I was also pleased that we're were able to move to an acceptable table away from foot traffic. I would have been bumped on repeat otherwise with the wedding guests coming down. I hope the couple and guests had a great experience as well! Forgot to congratulate them. So happy to finally give 5 stars! Keep up this tempo VT.

They happily seated us! The place looked super sketchy on the outside, since it is in the Super 8 building, but their food was absolutely wonderful! If we ever find ourselves back in Sarnia, we will definitely stop in at Waggs.

Dinner. Then breakfast and dinner again. Staff and servers affable and helpful, except the last night I got the feeling our waitress wasn't as friendly with ppl who weren't local. Still, we tipped more than 20% because serving people in restaurants is a tough job. Especially these days. Both servers on Friday night and Saturday breakfast were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The young man at the register was super friendly and nice. The cheese curds were the saddest, greasiest one I ever had (they were squares not curds) and hit the trash when we got home. Service was good. Not sure what the answer is. Perhaps it is just the taste of the people in the area...they like what they like. The Entrees on the menu were somewhat diverse and it looks like they are trying to upscale a little.
