Savers is a small chain of health, home and beauty products that sell goods that are supposedly a reduced/lower price, this location is in a good spot within Stockport town centre, on the corner of Vernon St, right next to Asda on Warren Street.
They did have a few good items, but nothing which wasn't available in other shops nearby such as Poundland or ASDA, I do think some of the prices were far from "Savers" either, some items cost nearly 50% more compared to Amazon and Sainsbury's.
The store was a little cluttered, but again this is nothing uncommon compared to similar stores.
One thing I've found to be common with discount stores is the staff seem disinterested, that's OK, but here it seems to be on another level, a staff member openly ignored me and seemed to be doing whatever he could to avoid helping customers.
2* - I probably wouldn't visit here again down to the prices which are OK, nothing is too cheap to resemble the "Savers" name, and when an employee feels it's OK to ignore a customer, that's when I lose the most hope. I'd probably only visit as a last resort, as it is in a good location which is one of the few positives. read more
