There is a pharmacy too which although I have never used, always seems to be busy. As a beauty lover, it doesn't cover the range of brands that the Boots in town does so I thought it would be handy to order my stuff online and get it delivered to this particular Boots as it is local to me. The ordering process went pretty smoothly but it was the collection that was a bit of a nightmare. On the past two occasions that I have went to pick up orders, they have struggled to find them and I can't understand why. Surely it's not the busiest of branches that is inundated with orders? On these occasions, I have been asked several times to provide the order reference number (even though it was given at the beginning) as they went back and forth trying to find my order - I was even asked if I was sure it was under my name. That left me ridiculously annoyed and in the end, my order always seems to have appeared out of thin air....I really don't understand how they are operating their collection service at this particular branch. Not a bad Boots for picking up the essentials, but I would recommend using the Click & Collect service at a different branch unless you want to be standing about waiting on someone finding your order for 10/15 minutes.

Superdrug are doing a promotion where you get 5% off 1st class stamps. Now, this might not seem much but then you add up all those pennies on your Christmas card stamps it could go towards an extra present or perhaps a wee new lip gloss for yourself. As far as I know, Superdrug is the (or at least one of the) only places to do this promotion. You can't even get it when buying in bulk from the post office. They do it on and off throughout the year so it's definitely worth stocking up on your stamps during these periods. I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about stamps.

It has everything you could ever want from such a shop; medicines, hair products, skin care, electrical goods, batteries, a huge range of cosmetics and much more 2. Even if they are rushed off their feet they still take the time to help you out if you have a query or check their stock if the item you want doesn't appear to be there. 3. They always have fantastic offers on. If I go in for one thing - I usually come out with about ten more as the offers really are too good to resist including my favourite L'Oreal shampoo nearly always being on a buy one get one free offer. 4. They always have lots of staff on so even when it is busy you never have to wait long in the queue. 5. They stock make-up such as GOSH, Bloom and Barry M that aren't often stocked in other stores. 6. They have a Superdrug cheek tint that is very similar to that of Benefits "Benetint" I found this after years of using Benetint and can tell you that there is absolutely no difference, well apart from the fact that "Benetint" is around £23 and Superdrugs own is £1.91!!!!! 7. For the past few months they have had an offer on where you get 25% off Superdrug goodies and 10% off all other goodies if you fill in a short survey online. Wow... those are just a few reasons but if you are looking for a Superdrug, I would say this one is the best.

Situated inside Princes Square, you are greeted warmly 'Welcome to the World of Jo Malone' and their intention is clear: to make you feel as welcome as possible because let's be honest...who visits Jo Malone other than to purchase a gift/treat for themselves? The shop smells INCREDIBLE and it should do because they have so many nice fragrances that clearly work together. The table directly infront of you houses sample candles/perfumes of each of their most popular fragrances which you can sample. On either side, there are shelves stacked beautifully (and very precisely; everything has a place) of various lotions and other products they offer. The till counter is to the left hand side and to the right, there is an area where you can receive complimentary arm and hand massages. I knew exactly what I wanted but I took the time to smell the other candles. In my opinion, nothing is as good as the Wood Sage & Sea Salt though and the girl very kindly boxed and bagged the candle for me. Yeah £42.95 is perhaps crazy for a candle...but it's worth every penny. I love it. I also got myself booked in for an arm and hand massage which I'm really looking forward to! The girl who served me was lovely and took the time to chat to me on a more personal level then just a customer which I really appreciated. The nicest touch came the following day though when a hand written card came through the post thanking me for my custom. A little much? I don't think so actually. It rounded off my treat quite nicely and I'm heading back soon to pick up the perfume.

They also do little boxes with small trial fragrances and bath goods inside which is a great idea for wedding favours. The staff are also really helpful in this branch and will be able to help you find the perfect scent for you.

I've been looking for something for dehydrated skin (the bane of my life) and decided to pop in here to see if I could get some help. Finally I got someone to help me and she was great - actually really helpful, showing me the products and happily gave me decent sized mini tubs to take home and try. I mean, if I'm going to spend £60 on moisturiser, I want to make sure it's amazing. This store is also a lot bigger than I expected and has a range of candles/bubble baths. I'd tried everything and this was a last resort, It wasn't cheap, £22 for 100ml bottle and I was sceptical but I decided to give it a go. It cleared up my skin in about 5 days, it was like a miracle! I swore by the stuff for nearly two years but then I moved to Germany for ten months and it stopped working. It could have been the water there but I haven't used it since. I might pop back soon to give it another shot as when it worked the results were fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for quick results for breakouts. As far as I'm aware Space NK is the only stockist in Glasgow, hurrah! They used to stock loads of Philosophy products but they don't have so many anymore. My favourite purchase from here was a lipgloss set from Philosophy which was called "A Few Good Men", these men were, "The Muffin Man" - a lemon muffin flavoured lipgloss, "The Gingerbread Man" - a tasty gingerbread lipgloss and my favourite, "The Ice-Cream Man." Unfortunately they don't have this set anymore, but who knows, maybe one day they'll make a return. Space NK is great, quite expensive but sometimes you need to pay that little bit extra when it comes to cosmetics. They also do sales now and then so you could grab yourself a bargain!

This is an upmarket shopping centre which has more expensive high street shops like Reiss, Ted Baker, Vivienne Westwood and Cos (which I'm still yet to check out!). The centre is certainly decorated to match the crowd it's looking to attract - glitzy, glam and always clean and tidy. I like the size of the centre as well - it's very dinky but still has lots of shops and is easy to navigate. There's also a host of restaurants, bars and cafés but I'll be honest - I've not visited many of them. I ate at Barca probably 4 years ago and also one of the places on the bottom floor but I think that's changed hands. One down side is that if you are dining at a restaurant on the lower level, parents will tend to let their kids run riot in the centre circle which can be a bit of a mood-killer. Princes Square doesn't have a car park due to its location but it is really close to train and subway. If you do really fancy driving, probably St Enoch or Mitchell Street are the closest car parks.

Despite this I can't help but visit the Acqua Di Parma section in Frasers and look at all the lovely bottles purely because it represents that little 1950s Italian dream of mine. The first time I used it I had lost a lot of weight and did not know what suited my new figure. I was going to a wedding so went to get an outfit for that. They offer services for any type of outfit you need, like going on holiday, new work clothes and they also offer a wardrobe renewal if you fancy a change. I booked online which was quick and simple they ask you a few questions about what your looking for, what you like, colours and your sizes. I was given a 90 minute slot. I headed to the personal shopper area, based near the men's shoes department. I was met by my personal shopper, Jordan. He explained that the normal rooms they use were busy so I was brought to a make shift dressing room in Mr Fraser's old office, which was stunning, apparently not many people get to see in the office. It made the experience even more special. Jordan asked me a few questions and then he headed off to find me some outfits. I sat on the couch and looked at magazines and relaxed. Jordan then arrived with armfulls of dresses. I then began trying them on. There was no pressure to like them, but I tried them all on. Nothing in the first lot suited. So Jordan headed off again. The 2nd last dress I tried on was the one, loved it, and again like my first personal shopper experience it was a dress I would never have picked for myself. I would highly recommend giving this a go, I think you worry that you are going to feel pressured into buying something but it's all very chilled out and fun to get a little pampered.
