a bunch of homeless EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!! outside the stores front entrance, groups doing crack RIGHT BY ALL THE CARS in the parking lot. it's super sketchy! prices are absolutely insane. almost $20 for some beat up converse, fake bags being sold for $100+. my last time there i found a pair of jeans with A PERIOD STAIN! some clothing still has original store tags but savers doesnt fail to price the item $1-4 more dollars. a middle aged white lady that puts shoes back on the racks yelled at my bf, complaining that if he's ever heard about "personal space, consent, & how to respect women" my bf was just trying to walk towards me where i was standing on the opposite side of the isle. she tried blocking him & covering the shoes as if high heels with the soles coming off even interest him. she didn't have to be rude to him, i don't think middle aged white ladies are his type anyways. speaking of rude! all the teenage girls that work there are rude & have an attitude. the girls there act like they run the place! on the other hand, all the men that work there are extremely helpful & kind men read more

GROSS & nasty place! Make sure u bring a gas mask with you becuz this store smells bad! They need to keep doors open or open a window! Hard to shop in a smelly stank store! I thought I was coming here to get a good deal and everything is EXPENSIVE! don't bother people! I saw a crappy set of USED markers and they wanted almost $5 for them. Jvst go to Walmart and get brand new for less! I was looking at puzzles but turned off at the $10-20 price tag for used nasty stuff ! They get most for free via donations and they turn around and rip YOU off. They should invest in a air purifier cuz this place smells horrible. Worse than goodwill cuz everything costs 2 mvch! Wow , I must say I am impressed ! Not much of a thrift shopper as I'm not crazy about shopping but this store makes It worth it ! All the items are in categories and with their right sizes . I used to go to Goodwill and Salvation Army now and then but didn't like having so dig and dig to find anything, thankfully this store is not like them! Also the employees are pretty friendly and go out the way to help you. Club membership to the store is nice and free and gives 25% off the whole store every Monday which makes things even cheaper ! I really like Saver's! It's nice to have a big staple thrift store. I made a resolution to stop shopping from companies that produce/contribute to fast fashion. Saver's has an extremely wide variety of clothing for women and men. They also have tons of books, CD's, home stuff, furniture, toys, bedsheets, kid's clothes, etc! There are hats, accessiories, etc. I once found an LV bag for $80, but I didn't get it because I thought it would still be there the next day (it was not ). I always try to just buy anything I like because since it is a thrift store, it's likely that this is the only time I'll be able to get it. They also allow exchanges! I don't know if they do returns, but I do know they do exchanges! I also love donating here, I believe Saver's donates to a charity for autism? They also give you coupons when you donate! Shop secondhand; it's better for the earth!! I also only gave 4 stars because some of the staff is nice, but other times they're pretty stand-offish. read more

One of the few times in my lifetime that I shopped for over an 1 1/2 hours and left with nothing. I couldn't bring myself to pay $7.99-plus for a simple used non-designer womens shirt. $9.99 - $12.99 for most sweaters. Way overpriced in my opinion. I had an armful of stuff and ended up putting ALL of it back. Don't they realize they would make more money by selling more items of clothing at less cost to the buyer? Then everyone wins and it opens up space to stock new clothes. Oddly- Savers is the only thrift store I know that stocks clothing for the left handed to view... So when you are sliding the clothing on the rack with your right hand, you see the back of the dress/ shirt/! I found it very frustrating which took 2x as long to work through the clothing. A good thing they have going for them is a large volume of clothes and sections arranged according to size. Also the store is much cleaner than Salvation Army down the street. read more

I went to Savers last weekend on a Saturday this was my first time. The store was busy and there were a lot of people. I was impressed by how clean and organized the store was, it didn't give off a thrift store vibe. It is a really big store. I was there for almost 3 hrs going through glassware, curtains ,sheets, kitchen appliances,lamps,clothing,purses, shoes a huge array of stuff. I found the pricing to be higher than most thrift stores. Everything I picked up seemed to be 1.99 or 4.99. The pricing on some items was competitive with retail but not many. I picked up, browsed and did a final sort before checking out. The 3 stars is for the line....I literally waited in line 20 minutes, there was only 1 person working a single register and about 9 people behind me waiting.The checker saw she had a line and was slow as Christmas when checking me out, she was talking to another co worker with no sense of urgency to get the line moving and customers out... that was really the only flaw. Overall a nice thrift store, a little overpriced but a good experience. read more

They have a lot of coo vintage stuff. People there are nice. Check out can be a while sometimes but they call for back up right away. l've shopped at Savers Thrift store, It's nice, got what appeared to be two new dresses. I think the people bought them, then decided that they didn't want them. God complements, because these dresses were so original. Like to see more Household products like, throw rugs, pillows, and lamps. Or maybe more electronics, including synthesizers or electric pianos or guitars. At least with a 1 month guarantee, I think even stores that sell new stuff do this. At that these products would be a reasonable prices, I think people would come back more often if this was true. Over all there store has stayed clean and organized in the clothes department, and if your looking for clothes and shoes, and hats, and belts, this is the place, because you'll find unusual stuff, this is the place. I shopped at the Savers in Orange County all of the time with my great grandmother as a child, so when I saw one opened up in Riverside I was super excited to check it out. I walked into the huge building and observed numerous racks that were all organized and neat. I love the fact that the racks aren't packed to the brim (like they are at Goodwill) so you can actually look at each hanging item individually with ease. They have several dressing rooms so I never had to wait in line to try clothes on. I also donated a few items of clothing before I began shopping so they gave me a 20% off discount when I checked out. This is the mecca of thrift stores so an intended 20 min trip can turn into a 2 hour shopping spree. I watched a ton of Project Runway the previous day, so I felt extremely adventurous with my clothing choices and ended up trying on an entire cart of clothes. I ended up buying ten items and only spent $21!!!! Great place if you love finding deals. read more

To be completely objective, Savers has the best variety of top quality items. From designer cloths to top quality waffle makers. Savers has 50% off sales every now and then, not to mention that they are already cheap. You can't beat the price with the quality. I've been to my share of thrift stores and this one is by far the cleanest one. You don't get that instant kick of stench when you walk in, or feel that icky feeling from the dirty floors. This is heaven for any hardcore thrifter out there! Everything is so well organized, from shoe sizes to different types of books. I've donated things here a couple of times and have had a great experience They are open most of the time and I can easily drop things off. Plus, they give you a coupon to use if you want to shop in the store. I found some gems hidden in the racks and was happy with the treasure hunt. I am a Saver's fan. Even when we travel I seek out Saver's in other cities. I love Saver's. This was my first time visiting this location. It is large and fairly clean. The toys and games are a mess, BUT Saver's let's the children of shoppers play with the toys. As a mom of grown sons I appreciate that kindness towards children. The clothing portion of the store was very well organized and neat. I found lots of quality clothing at great prices. I shopped for 2 hours, left with two huge bags full and spent $54. Don't forget to take donations with you. you will receive a 20% your purchase coupon. Ask if they are currently doing stamp cards. If so, when your card is filled you receive 30% of your next purchase. Check the tag color of the week. This week it was blue, so all blue tagged items were 50% off. read more

This place is clean and organized. The knick knacks and toys seemed to be priced well but the clothes seemed to be priced high. I found a Calvin Klein dress that was missing a belt for $42, that seemed too high of a price for a thrift store. I will be back but it won't be my go to thrift store. read more

It's the best second hand store around. Set up like a Ross'. Easy to find your size or product. A lot of new stuff as well.

They filter through the items before they get onto the floor, generally higher quality than what you'd find at a Goodwill. Join the membership program, steep discounts make it worth it. I love Savers!!! read more

Before today I loved this place because I always found video games at good prices. Today that all changed. I was harassed and accused by one of the employees by the name of Blanca of stealing. She must of missed counted one of the games I was looking at that was in the case area where also the jewelry is held. I emptied my pockets told her to review the cameras and even call the police to prove my innocence. She accused me many more times and even denied me to purchase anything. Finally I talked to the manger who decided to ignore the employee and sell me the games and apologized on her behalf but I never got a apology from her. Never have I been so embarrassed and in disbelief of what happen today. If you go to this place I strongly advise you to avoid the short Hispanic women in her mid 50's by the name of Blanca. I would never want to have a customer harassed and accused of stealing and feel the embarrassment I endured today. read more
