We…read morewent in on a Saturday to look for a stroller and they were busy but that did not stop them from giving everyone one-on-one assistance. They are SO knowledgable on all the travel systems. They answered all our questions and offered additional information. We never felt rushed and we never felt pressured into buying anything. We went to department stores in the area and it was just not the same- we barely got any attention and they did not know the answers to our questions, they also did not have a big selection- don't waste your time there, just come to Shower Me with Love!! And ask for Joyce, she's amazing! We then came back on a Sunday for the car seat and got the same experience- so helpful and knowledgeable. They did not have what we needed in stock either time, but they ordered them to the store, called us when they were ready and we came back and picked them up. The best part on ordering strollers, car seats or furniture from them is that they have a promotion where you get 25% back on a gift card to purchase on anything (that isn't furniture, car seats or strollers) to use within 6 months. They also have any/all baby gear you need! Baby blankets, towels, bath toys, stuffed animals, baby carriers, hair bows, baby socks/tights, hats, etc. And they have lots of clothes sized premie to toddler, and all the best brands (The Beaufort Bonnet Company, Kissy Kissy, Magnetic Me, Pink Chicken, etc.). it is definitely the place to go if you need a baby shower gift!! We will definitely be back.

However, I'm in the market for a double stroller and being that many are $$$, I wanted to make sure I was able to get my hands on one first to see all the features in person. Shower me with love was one of the only stores that came up in my search for baby stores around Charlotte. I was happy it opened at 9am.. accommodates a toddler who also wakes up early! My husband, daughter, and I came here and were initially excited to see an abundance of strollers in the window. Our excitement ended there. When we entered the store, it appeared like no employees were in sight. I grabbed the 2 double strollers I saw and wheeled them around the store to get a feel for them. Of course no price tags are on the products ($$$ ughhh). So, I was waiting around, looking for an employee to ask. I only found one when I went to the checkout area. It was at that time I was informed that the only 2 people qualified to educate and talk to me about strollers were not working that day! No other employee could help. Seriously? So I guess that's why the stroller part of the store was ignored (there were a couple other families there looking lost and wondering were help was). So we left. The good part is, that one of the employees was able to tell me the cost of the stroller I was looking at. I found the same stroller online, on sale, for a fraction of what I would have gotten it for here.

There aren't very many which is fine but the few they have should then be amazing and they aren't always fabulous! But everything else is great! The one lady (dark hair) is so sweet. I ordered custom delicate little stickers for my moms honey and they were so helpful. And they came and turned out soooo cute! Little round pale grey with delicate writing! She loved them. They carry really great brands and have beautiful leather agendas, glass desk accessories, writing paper, custom orders for invites of all kinds, wrapping paper, ribbons, decorations, and cute little gifts that are always changing to keep new fun and sometimes even local things at your fingertips. The one girl (young blonde) is snotty, but most of them are extremely friendly and kind. It's conveniently located on selwyn. And a great place for gifts or just to pop in for something fun for your self

After the incident mentioned in my review below, I reached out to their FB page and made a…read morecomplaint. They stated that they had not yet shipped the item despite the email I had received, and that I could pick up the item. When I arrived, their shipping manager apologized and stated they had miscommunications between themselves. They did not charge my card for the shipping fee. I have purchased several items since this time and after further experiences can say that their customer service has greatly improved. Their shipping manager has communicated effectively and the staff there has been very pleasant and helpful. I even had an incident where I got ANOTHER flat tire after leaving the pickup location and my phone was not working properly. Due to the location, I could not call; I could only text. I texted the shipping manager asking if they could call AAA for me and they did. I appreciate their attentiveness and I am continuing to scope out their auctions for items. As a previous poster stated, they are honest about any defects present and will often take a close-up photo of the area. You can also contact them directly to discuss any questions you have about an item. The pickup location is different for each auction. So, you must pay very careful attention when bidding to ensure the location is not too far. I accidentally did that once and contacted them about my $5 purchase telling them I was willing to donate the items instead of driving that far to pick up the small purchase. They handled this with me well. I was very pleased to get a pretty painting for my hallway at a great price. I've purchased several vases and one red vase adorned my Christmas table. I'm impressed the owner has taken notice and cares to resolve any issues within the business. They have even added text and email reminders the day an auction closes to remind you in case you wish to bid on items. I continue to receive texts the next day reminding me of my purchase and all of this has been extremely helpful. Great job to the business owner to identify the root cause of the problem and in implementing solutions that work.
