I went Sunday morning to buy my groceries today. I didn't have a bad experience till at the end…read morewhen I was checking out. There was a girl cashier waiting impatiently for the cashier helping me to finish up, so she could start her shift while holding her cash drawer. I notice she would also look at the older woman ringing me up and rolled her eyes impatiently. Last time I was in there the workers wore gloves because of the Covid-19 virus. I mention to the lady ringing me up about the gloves. Keep in mind she was kind and helpful. In return the young impatient girl replies "we don't have to, it's our choice if we want to." She says in an aggressive manner. Next thing I know she doesn't stop there after I said I actually clean everything from even wiping down our groceries. She again comes back telling me "you are touching the money and your purse and groceries." Couldn't believe I was hearing this, I have blue med gloves and mask on. I said what is your name? Her reply was" I don't have to tell you". Next I said you are very rude and you shouldn't be talking this way to customers. Then she gets even madder like wants to get last word in a debate and says that I have some nerve telling her she is rude and tells me off and as I'm leaving she yells out "get out of here!" Ok ...that's it ..I turned around and very upset and hurt I said that I want to talk to your manager. The manager Christy came up to me and was understanding but when I told her what happen she said don't do anything till I talk to her. I asked have her explain her side of what occur while she was standing nearby. Her demeanor and voice was now nice and lying not all true...WOW! As I the commenced to leave again, I told Christy still shocked and upset I want a refund. Never have I in all my years experienced such a rude person who is supposed to be doing good in customer service and helping people. Even if you are having a bad day you need to leave it at home and care about your job. I am 63 and I have been in public relations since 1980 and this is the first! I will not shop here ever again and also my family won't. Christy, I hope to god you have a serious talk to your employees that do such poor conduct to customers.
