Can we give minus 1000 stars?…read more Twice, I've been shopping and found a product that has expired or is days away from expiring. I showed a store manager a product that had expired days earlier. Over 50+ bottles had an expired date on them. May I ask, who's looking out for the customer here? At least the manager removed all of the expired bottles on the spot. I returned a few weeks later and it's the same item, but it only has 2 weeks left until it expires. Who buys a condiment with only 2 weeks from its expiration date? I contacted the store manager again and this time she couldn't care less. She just rolled her eyes and walked away. Easily over 100 bottles only had two weeks of life left on them. I get it, being lazy and non caring about your job is much simpler than doing the right thing. Very sad times!

Up until today I would have given our local IGA a rating of a 4 or 5. The sign near the entrance…read moresaid $1.99 for boneless pork tenderloin. That was my first wrong assumption. A sign said they would gladly slice them for free. So I grabbed me two pork loins, I watched the butcher or at least I assume he was the butcher go back and forth in front of me ignoring me. Finally I made my existence known and ask him to slice my pork loins, I was politely informed that they had started cleaning their machines and tables , it would not be possible, bring the pork loins back tomorrow at 7 am he would be happy to slice them for me. My second assumption was the meat department was still open at 4 pm. Wrong they begin cleaning up at 4 pm. My other wrong assumption was also thinking the price per pound was $1.99, that assumption incorrect as well. I didn't think to look at the price per pound, my wife checked the price, it was $2.99 lb. I assumed since the sign said $1.99 lb. that was the price, again I assumed wrong. The moral of my story is, if you expect to get your meat sliced get there at the crack of dawn and do not believe your lying eyes.
