The owners true colors came through and I haven't been back since. BRC, movement, other great options where you're humanity is valued along with great climbing! Also have heard from former staff how the owner treats employees that arent white differently. Very unfortunate spoil to the old era of climbing here.

This got us in the door. What kept us is the PHENOMENAL staff. They have swim coaches for all different type of swimmers. They incorporate fun in their lessons which keep the kids wanting to come back. I made the huge mistake of thinking it would be good to diversify my 3 year olds experience with a different coach after 7 months of lessons. When he freaked out, they were supportive of our needs and worked with him to enjoy getting in the pool again. I'm so grateful! I should also mention their facilities which are always clean. The pool truly is heated. When I first joined I was annoyed at their makeup policy but have come to not mind it so much. Makeups can only be scheduled 3 days in advance but surprisingly that's not proven to be an issue. Only an asset as I havn't lost money by needing to cancel. Shout out to Kim, Lexi, Mandi, Ashley, Carly and Teddie! Y'all are especially awesome.

I had to address this a few times. My child had been in the class just a few sessions and was following directions, but apparently it wasn't good enough for the instructor. Parents - stay aware and vigilant when your child is in the hands of others. We also spent thousands on them keeping our children at nearly the same level with little advancement. Fast forward and they are making strides at a new swim school for far less money and with instructors who care.

Yup, they have some of the most enviable bodies in the universe. And, yes, the dudes still have visible manpart protectors. Other than that, there's nothing stuffy or antiquated about this ballet troupe. I was fortunate enough to see "Rock Ballets," which featured three acts of choreography to INXS, Queen and Bowie in that order. I've always loved Queen, but seeing their music paired with innovative movement and dance had me in tears. Yes. I cried at Queen. At the ballet. And I don't regret one bit. Their next season is going to be paired with all live music and one of their performances is to Paper Bird's album "Carry On." I cannot wait to see that! The best part about this dance company is that it's still so affordable. Yes, their performances are at 84th and I-25, but it's worth the drive to be able to see unbelievable dancers at a fraction of the price that you would have to pay at the DCPA. I'm actually considering getting season tickets since they're under $100. I'm serious. I challenge you to go to one show and not be excited to see everything they produce. They've totally won me over.

I have been part of Tran's martial arts for over five years (with two longer breaks when I had my…read morechildren) and it has literally transformed my life. Not only am I more fit now at age 40 then I was at age 30. It is fun, it is challenging and rewarding mentally, emotionally and physically. I started when I was in a pretty bad physical condition and with the support to Master Tran, his crew and all the other members I have become fit. For the first time in my life did I find a regular work out that keeps my attention and that is FUN! Time flies by. The constant encouragement during class from instructors and persons I team up with makes me feel great. I get a super work out, and I leave feeling less stressed and calm. I'm clearly a better mom and wife after I work out at Trans. I am the type who loves skiing, tennis and other similar activities that keeps my mind engaged - the Muay Thai kickboxing is wonderful. It's almost meditative. I first started when I was studying for the bar exam, and this was the only time during the week that my mind was not stressing or thinking about legal problems. I often get bored going to regular gyms, or feel frustrated because I can't do certain work out or dance moves. This is the first time in many many years that I found a sport so fun, engaging, supportive and challenging that I kept to a schedule of working out 2-3 times a week! And I always felt respected for whatever level I'm at. People who are super fit as well as people who haven't worked out in years are equally welcomed. I'm from Sweden and we always go by first name, so in the beginning it was a bit unusual for me to get used to the "mam" or "sir" or to bow. But I got used to it quickly and it's really a matter of showing respect. There isn't a lot of formalities otherwise. It's a wonderful fitness and martial arts studio. Come and try it!

I was really surprised. It's a tough, challenging workout. All my muscles were worked; my cardio system was running hard and I felt great doing it. Since then we've taken dance and gymnastics classes which my daughter has really enjoyed. Both kids LOVE kids night out-- they always want to attend and hate to leave when it is over. This year my son tried the summer camp for the first time and had a blast-- I was impressed by the variety of activities and trips offered at camp. With everything at Mtn Kids the instructors/leaders make all the difference. Mtn. Kids also stands out to our family because of the fundraising they do for non-profit organizations with the annual auction and the generous support of local preschools and other organizations. Mtn.
