It had everything you need and what they had was top notch. *AMBIANCE* Cozy, elegant, and stylish. There is some history to this place and you can tell two things: 1) It is family owned and they are taking good care of the place, and 2) the interior decoration is outstanding and they family put a lot of effort into getting it to where it is. Overall, the place is very quiet, peaceful, and a great place to relax. *SAUNAS* Their saunas met the mark with a high margin. The hot sauna is hot! The infrared sauna makes you sweat! The low heat sauna is great for relaxing! The water pool - cold! The steam room - great for skin cleansing and relaxing. They were all kept very clean! *ETIQUETTE* No clothes of any kind allowed in the saunas. Place your towel under you to cover your full body and to capture your sweat. Saunas and dressing room are co-ed, in fact the entire place is co-ed. Behave respectfully and politely. Ask the staff for any clarification, as they were super polite, helpful, and kind. Great place to try your first sauna in the Netherlands.

Otherwise, as mentioned--and as indicated by its name--the "Deco"-era interiors are unlike any I've ever experienced at such a spa, which further adds to the escapism that is the bliss of a spa with different saunas, a cold plunge, etc. The owners and operators are truly wonderful, too! I visited multiple times during my first visit to Amsterdam, and I will certainly return when I visit again.

Note that as with most sauna on continental Europe, this is fully naked. No need to bring your trunks :-) Car-parking - €1 coin required. Can get quite busy depending on the time of the day/year. It is hard to visit and not to try them all. My favorite one was the Finnish Sauna, as for me it is a way to finish off my sauna cycle before diving into the cold bath... then I go back and do it again! The most interesting one was probably the sauna that looked like a jungle or a rain forest. Fairly warm and very very humid. ***LOUNGE AND DINING*** It was a very special interior. Relaxing on couches around a fire, or sitting at the table/bar... there is nothing getting in the way of you relaxing. The staff were able to explain everything on the menu to me and make recommendations as well. I would suggest trying the small appetizer at the kitchen's discretion. Not sure if it is the same every time, but I was shocked to see the variety and size. It had cheese, chicken wing, cheese, crackers, guacamole and chips, salad, sausages, and even beef tartar. This was only 11 euros! ***OTHER AMENITIES*** Cinema, terrace, outdoor lounge, pool, infrared saunas, steam room, foot bath, light therapy room, and more! There is so much to do there.
