Do not go to this office. The Doctor does not care. He always laughs, everything is so funny. You…read moretell him your concerns about anxiety etc.. and he laughs. I got a CPAP machine from a medical supply and that is where I got my instructions. The first time I wore the CPAP machine was for 13 minutes. I felt sick, bad anxiety, threw up and then had a panic attack. I called the office three times and used the patient portal as well, several times and no one called me back. In 2 weeks they never got back to me. Not once did the Doctor take time with me and the CPAP machine to help me learn and lessen the pressure, something. He never tried to adjust it or help me wear it. He took a ton of money from me. He had me coming back again and again. Home sleep studies etc.... He most likely never read anything but He charged me 165.00 everytime I saw him. Since his office, the lung and sleep center never got back to me and I could not wear it. I was what they call non-compliant. I found an awesome Doctor, Dr. Karim. He is kind and understanding. Because of Dr. Chaparala Now I cannot get a CPAP because Dr. Chaparla took my money, benefits and foolishly ruined everything for me in getting care and coverage. I was his patient. I paid all the money. I got the CPAP from the supply company. I had a hard time and I was blown off. It is called supervised neglect. Now with a good Doctor, my insurance declined a CPAP because I was " NON-compliant" Now that I have a caring Doctor who is willing to meet with me and the machine together to help me because of my life depends on it! Dr. Chaparla is only in for the money! This Doctor uses people like pawns to get all the money and benefits. I stop breathing 57 times in an hour. This is no game and I needed to be helped I called the office and on the internet to the patient portal. In the end, this Doctor has all the power. He took my benefits, I am Non-compliance with insurance. This Doctor never helped me and now I cannot get help elsewhere. Do not go here! Go to Dr, Karim, he cares.

I don't usually leave reviews, but my experience at Oak Lawn Express Care was honestly really…read moreuncomfortable and concerning. When I arrived, I was the only patient there, yet everything still felt extremely disorganized and slow. What stood out the most was how confusing the check-in process was. The front desk staff asked me to spell very simple words (like "circle"), and there seemed to be a lot of confusion over basic information. It made the whole interaction feel awkward and unprofessional, and it actually heightened my anxiety to the point where I started stuttering while trying to answer questions. When I was finally seen, the experience didn't improve much. The nurse practitioner seemed genuinely confused about my medication allergies. Even after I clearly explained my reactions and history, she still appeared unsure and kind of just blanked out instead of addressing it confidently. That was honestly the most concerning part, because I didn't feel safe or reassured discussing my health. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, uncomfortable, and lacking in clear communication. I understand that mistakes happen, but in a healthcare setting, especially when discussing allergies and medical history, there needs to be more confidence, clarity, and professionalism. I left feeling more anxious than when I walked in, which shouldn't be the case after a medical visit.

My husband was very impressed with his care from beginning to end…read more His wait time was 5 minutes and he was seen by Dr. Jeff Lee who was professional and quickly diagnosed his condition. Prescription was waiting for him when he went to the pharmacy.
