Amazing service thank you…read more It is Friday evening and i am having a sudden issue with my lower leg after a run, it is painful and i am not sure what to do. I ring Fey Pedler and leave a message to call me, as Sunday i have a 20 mile race. Saturday morning i get a call and book an appointment for that morning, the staff on the phone do everything they can to help and are sympathetic to my issue. After 45mins with Duncan, were he puts me through a number of questions and physical tests he quickly diagnosis the issue. He treats me immediately and discusses what i need to do to resolve the issue myself. Within 45mins i am walking out with my head held high. Sunday, i run 20 miles with some stiffness from the massage, but this eases quickly. The leg gives me no problems what so ever. Fantastic kind, caring and professional help. I had booked( in advance a Gel Pedicure and Manicure) I was not…read moreused to protocol in this particular salon , but I do know when people are being rude .I tried on every level to give them all a chance , but this is what took place ; I was NOT allowed to pick my color (Gel Color which cost more ) and I was told that they could not accomandate me with a Square shaped nail because my toes were so unusual ! Lol! Then , I was forced to sit in a Massage Chair , that had the seat set all the way back which felt uncomfortable to me . I asked( "Can we just adjust it to a sitting position instead ?" I asked a few times , I was treated like I had 3 heads ! The looks the remarks ; now other clients who appeared to be regulars were in on the joke ; I just couldn't understand . Then the icing on the cake is when she stuck my feet in ice cold water and asked how it felt . I responded by saying " the water needs to be warmer ; it never got warmer .I finally said " I don't think this is going to work out that great if we can't get warmer water " . I ran I mean not even walked over to KALMORA S.P.A. in Debenhams where I was treated with the upmost respect and professionalism . All I can say about Cherish is that there is nothing to cherish and they should work on their courtesy skills and professionalism . I was really pleased to find the Arena Salon in my search for a new stylist following my move from…read morethe US. I enjoyed the "personality" and welcoming atmosphere at my salon in Boston so I hoped for something similar here. Googling around, I was immediately struck by Arena's funky interior design and styling, with vintage lamps and old-school wallpaper. When I arrived I was welcomed with a nice cup of tea as I waited. My haircut was great, exactly what I'd been hoping for. My stylist asked lots of questions before she started and paged through a few photo books to get a sense of what I wanted, and even though I'm not very communicative about hair stuff she managed to figure out what I wanted and what would look good given my hair type. The girl who did my shampoo give me a nice scalp massage that was much-needed after a long workweek. Whilst I was having my haircut there was another woman there for a bridal consultation, and each of the three very different styles I saw them do for her looked gorgeous. That bodes well for me, since I'll be needing a bridal consultation myself in the near future. I'll be back in a month or so to have my color redone. I had the "recipe" for my particular color from my stylist in Boston, and though it was a different brand than Arena carry, my stylist consulted with a couple others who were familiar with this other brand to figure out what combination of their dyes would do what I wanted. They also did a skin test on me to make sure I wasn't allergic to their dyes; they require this of all new customers, and of all regular customers every 6 months. Shows a good commitment to their customers' health and safety. Between all this and the loyalty cards, I'll be happy to go back!
