The 1st few times he repaired minor chips but just last week, he replaced the entire windshield (since the crack was too big). In each case, he has been quick on the job & prices have always been great. I have a high deductible w the insurance & that put me in a pinch but Satellite saved me around $120 to what my insurance was quoting. I wanted to keep my money local so I called 6 different businesses to get quotes to replace my windshield. Tony not only was the first to respond but he came in significantly cheaper than any of his competitors. ($450 dollars cheaper, in fact, from the one that was the highest.) My windshield was smashed in by a stranger on a Wednesday night and Tony was able to come out and replace it on a Monday morning. For reference, I drive a 2011 Subaru Impreza Hatchback. Quotes from the area ranged from $200 (Satellite) to $375 (Fletchers). Reliable was in between. Despite my skepticism about quality, I chose to go with Tony because his quote was lowest. He is a one-man show, which is why his prices can be so much lower than those from other shops in the area. He explained to me that other shops justify much higher rates because they use "higher quality glass" - not so. Apparently they all get their windshields from the same manufacturer(s). Their higher rates are actually because of their overhead. I found Tony to be a very honest man with an honest business. He replaced my windshield within an hour, answered all of my questions, and gave me clear instructions on safe driveway time, when to remove the tape, etc... I definitely recommend Satellite to anyone needing a windshield replacement. read more

I was having trouble getting my rear view mirror to stick to my windshield. The kit for sale at the auto parts store didn't have strong enough adhesive to hold it. While in Yuba City, I noticed a Satellite Auto Glass truck pull up near me in a parking lot where I planned on shopping. I got out of my car and asked if he could help with my mirror. Within minutes the mirror was reattached and secure! The man's name was Anthony. I offered to compensate him for his time but he said that was not necessary, and he was happy to help. All my life I've used Safelite Auto Glass for windshield replacement. I was an auto insurance claims adjuster and had a lot of experience with them. My son damaged the front windshield in our BMW a month prior and as I was leaving the K-Mart parking lot, I saw a truck parked there with a sign offering sale glass replacement for $175. ( I had the BMW glass replaced the prior year at Safelite for $280.) I stopped and asked if they could replace my windshield for $175, thinking it was the company that I'd done business with all these years. As they were confirming they could, I realized it wasn't Safelite at all, but I scheduled an appointment for the next day. The owner, Tony, showed up early and had the glass installed in the 45 minutes that he'd told me it would take. he did an excellent job. In casual conversation, he mentioned he'd been doing this type of work for years. You can't beat the price or service, and you don't have to drive to Roseville to save the travel charge that out of area glass companies bill you. Whether the sale remains in effect or not, if you need auto glass work done, definitely give him a try. read more

Amazing service, I'm so grateful! I dented my driver's side door and broke the window. Tony manged to get the window replaced even with the damaged door. He CAME TO MY HOUSE where he replaced the window for only $175.00 and vacuumed up the glass. He was very friendly about the challenging job and didn't charge me extra! I had my F150 windshield replaced today by Satellite Mobile Auto Glass. Tony the owner/installer came to my house after calling 1 hour before the appointment time. Tony did a fantastic job, was clean and neat, replaced the windshield in 45 minutes! I am totally satisfied with the meticulous job He did. The price He quoted was about $50.00 less than the competitors quote. The only negative is the silly manakin hanging off the back of his display pickup parked in KMart parking lot. Called to have an estimate emailed for AAA reimbursement and the guy on the phone says that he doesn't email estimates....? Like really? Awful customer service, will go elsewhere to replace my glass.
