In an effort to let them know of a problem on the internet that could effect their sales, I said "the internet said you were closed so I wanted to check". Interrupting me mid sentence he said "the internet says we open at 10am". While looking directly at the newly refreshed web page that differed, I attempted to explain further, but INTERRUPTING AGAIN, he said "we open at 10am". This guy needs to be schooled on proper phone etiquette when dealing with customers, much less with other human beings. If their in-store service rivals their phone rudeness, I will be going elsewhere and informing everyone else in every form of social media available to do the same.

BETTER BRANDS BUT STILL NEEDS WORK!…read more I usually don't frequent Shoe Dept stores because they are usually small and stocked with lesser brands. As I was walking through the store today, this store caught my eye because it was huge and looked like a real store. I walked inside and I notice that this is a new store. It is very large and stocked with a nice selection of shoes for the entire family. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that they are carrying more familiar brands such as Clarks, Merrill and Chaco. Chaco is a great brand that specializes in sport sandals that usually start at $100 in other stores. Here, they were significantly less. I also noticed that this store carried a great selection of western books that were genuine leather and from nationally recognized brands. What?? I am so pleased that they are increasing quality and options for women. Although I don't shop at Shoe Dept, this store is definitely causing me to reconsider doing so. 5/4/15 I stopped in today to get a closer look at their sport sandals for men. While in the store, I noticed that they only put one shoe in the box. I realize that this is a part of their theft prevention strategy but it just screams "We don't trust you" and that is never a good feeling. It also makes it difficult to help yourself when you have to rely on the employees to get every shoe you want to try on. This was totally annoying.. They don't have a ladies room which is insane because any store of this size that carries women's shoes, should have a public rest room. Just remember to handle your business prior to entering. I am really feeling a 2.5 right now, but due to the quality options, I will stick with my 3 star rating.

I felt like my first wedding set was well cared for when ever I brought it in for an annual cleaning and inspection. Well I got a new wedding set. I brought the solitaire to them to be sized down 1/2 a size. 3 weeks later I got a ring back that looked horrible on the palm side of the band. You could clearly see where they cut it and made no effort to blend it back together. Also the ring was not polished and clean, as I was used to. I brought both things to their attention and the jeweler came out and said it was no big deal and I would have to live with it. I was not happy, but at the same time, I had always had great experiences before. Well today I called to ask about have the solitaire soldered to the 2 bands that go with it. They were very short and said it would be a 15 to 16 WEEK wait. I repeated "week?" in shock. The woman said "well what do you expect with over 800 repairs ahead of you?* Now hold on... so if I take my wedding rings in to Arney yearly, I would not have them for 1/3 of every year? Not acceptable, especially after my last experience. So today, I made a few phone calls. I got Lorraine Denise, Brillante Jeweler's voicemail and went on to the next highly rated jeweler. I wasn't comfortable with any that I talked to and was torn. Then Lorraine called me back. Wow! I can say with zero hesitation that I was 100% wrong about her. She was so kind and caring on the phone and eager to help. I rushed over after work. Low and behold, her master jeweler was there and guess what? He WAS Annie's excellent jeweler and left Arnie. Not only am I excited to work with Lorraine, as she seems like a very knowledgeable woman who takes pride in her work, but she is also someone that would be fun to have coffee with and talk. I'm also excited that I know I can trust the people she works with to do an excellent job. If you don't come here, you are making a mistake. I will be a life long customer. Thank you Lorraine. Eggs in the bottom of a bag with bananas n grapes on top. Bought some grapes the other day that tasted terrible. I returned them without question. Told the produce clerk about it, he could have cared less, he wouldn't taste a sample of what I bought. And didn't care if others had gone bad. The store has few cart returns. I was told it's that way because the associates would bring them out for you . I remember the days when they would insist on helping you out to your car. Can't now, not enough people bagging groceries to be able todo that. BTW i worked at grocery stores in High School, College, and part time for additional income when I was first married. Ending on a good note the stores is clean and well stocked.
