He responds promptly and maintains incredible bedside manners. His experience and knowledge of bankruptcy law is unparalleled. Billing compared to other lawyers, is very fair. Wayne and I journeyed through several years of litigation. During the process, Mr. Greenwald helped me and held my hand through the process. I submitted and had many mistakes on my Chapter 13 (done elsewhere), Mr. Greenwald converted my case to a Chapter 11 and helped me restructure my life. We were able to avoid Chapter 7. Wayne was instrumental in dealing with the U.S. Trustee, creditors and related settlements. He provided the proper legal advice and guidance (without upsetting the Bankruptcy Judge). When it comes to Bankruptcy Law, this man is a walking dictionary/ encyclopedia. Wayne Greenwald was recommended to me by a close friend. A very powerful, experienced and knowledgeable attorney. ( My friend does not do BK Law) As for reviews: ( I would say the following) Knowledge - 5 STARS. Experience - 5 STARS. Bedside Manners - 5 STARS. Responsiveness - 5 STARS. Results - 5 STARS. As for billing, very fair. More important, I started a Chapter 13 with a lower priced Bankruptcy attorney. While that Chapter 13 Bankruptcy filing ( nothing to do with Wayne Greenwald) was significantly less expensive, " I WAS NOT QUALIFIED FOR A 13". It was money wasted. You get what you pay for. If you are going through financial difficulties and need to hire or consult with a knowledgeable Chapter 13, Chapter 11, Chapter 7 attorney, Wayne Greenwald is certainly worth talking to.

It is one thing if someone cannot help me. I will never fault them for that. After all, I made this mess somehow. It is another to suffer the indignity of listening to someone like Mr. Greenwald. I had the unfortunate experience of reaching out to Mr. Greenwald for advice. This is after multiple calls and emails. I held faith eternal based on a wonderful email he sent me a few weeks ago. I've spoken to other attorneys but felt, based on these reviews, that Mr. Greenwald was not only the most qualified but perhaps the most compassionate. Perhaps it was just a bad day but my entire conversation with him dripped with condescension (from him) and disrespect. Upon hearing my matter, Mr. Greenwald put forth the idea that I could not afford him. When I retorted, offended of course, that I could, it devolved into internet level semantic nonsense in less than a minute. You know the type. Really? Professionalism may be half the reason anyone bothers speaking with an attorney. No one wants to seem incompetent in court whether or not you're in the wrong. We hire attorneys for their good faith and valiant efforts to help us in whatever mess we're in. My last attorney from Avvo was at the top of his class, brilliant, respectful, kind, compassionate, and patient. There is no way I am going to go from that, to a guy who will not even offer a half baked value proposition but instead, insult my intelligence, tell me that I'm too poor for consideration, and a headache. I can get that for free.. anywhere. I am not in the practice of leaving bad reviews. But I suppose if you're in the business of defending people's lives, you can hardly blame someone for rejecting (at least) abysmal service. Dear reader, don't say you haven't been warned. Good luck in finding your ideal attorney.

Honestly the worst attorney to ever use on any real estate deal. We used him 13 years ago on the…read morepurchase of our home and he missed violations and numerous other issues. He was awful. Then we went back to the law offices that had him working for them; when they asked us to use him again I balked; told them he was horrible and I did not want to use him again. They asked me to give him another chance. I reluctantly did and it was absolutely the worst experience. When we went to refinance our home (he was the purchasing attorney), all the violations came up again. He took 6 weeks just to find out and look for the paperwork for the old purchase and resolve the issue. Thankfully I had old emails pertaining to the issues from before. Because of him, I had to resubmit all of the documents again to get approved a second time for the refinance since too much time had passed. Then he worked on the purchase of an investment property. We discussed making sure the seller was out of the property or paid rent if he wasn't when we closed. Fred was not at the closing and we ended up paying the mortgage on the property for a week while the seller was still on the premises. Over $1000 lost there. He also said he would come up with a way to have the real estate agent who promised me a rebate, pay it. But then at the end he said he couldn't yet I I have found evidence online that this could have been done. I lost $10,000 there. If you want to lose money and still pay for a negligent attorney then hiring him might be good for you. But I would recommend to anyone the seller's attorney who showed at the closing that he knew what he was doing and protected his client.
