We decided to check this place out thanks to a TikTok post...on the drive I saw the bad reviews which almost discouraged us to go. My husband had the pork chops and eggs breakfast which I find hard to mess up, he initially thought it wasn't enough so he also ordered a barbacoa taco which he ended up not eating due to being full. My son ordered the menudo and I love that they ask if you want the hominy or pata, we passed on both and just had the meat in the soup and it was really really good! Plus it comes with handmade corn tortillas! I had the order of tacos mixtos and they were sooooo good...I also ordered the papitas enchiladas on the side....the place is really cute and modern and the service was good...we had several people from the staff check up on us....my only suggestion would be a menu with pictures but they do have a monitor that displays pictures of their plates....we will definitely be back read more

This pace used to be reasonably priced with good food. Today I stand to say the chips where store bought the sasa was watered down and the fajitas had no flavor. I went in with my in laws everything was fine at first. Our server came to the table and was polite. I ended up getting hot and took my sweater of she noticed I was pregnant and I do not like getting touched at all. She didn't ask or even give me time to acknowledge her being there when she just touches my belly. I take it very personally because there was no sense of boundary to her. I wouldn't recommend this place to a stray dog. The wait staff are rude and we had to flag down someone after waiting 10 minutes for someone to wait on us. Even after taking our drink orders they waited on several people that had walked in after us. Guess if your not mexican you can't get help. The smell in the place was horrible and smelt like wet dog. Stopped here for lunch randomly since we were in Pasadena... figured a hole in wall mexican restaurant would be an ideal choice! When we walked in we were greeted right away with a friendly hola! The staff is real sweet. I ordered just two tacos and charro beans because i wasnt that hungry. Chips and salsa. One was spicier than the other one and it was also fresh and yummy. The margarita was strawberry flavored but made with beer. It was real fruity and good but I didn't taste any alcohol or feel a buzz or anything which I didn't need anyways but they are really light. My tacos came out shrimp and fajita chicken with a spicy green sauce which had a huge punch. It was great! The food is really good! You know it's being freshly cooked and prepared for your individual order. There's alot of other little restaurants around but this was a good find. read more

The food was amazing but our server was HORRIBLE. Today on Mother's Day We sat on table #11 and our server was terrible so rude didn't seem to care and kept muttering under her breath about how tired she was with dealing with everyone, and kept yelling at us from the other side of the restaurant. Just terrible this restaurant could be awesome but your waitresses need to be chosen better or trained to not treat customers like crap. Very disappointed read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My dad and I came here for breakfast and the table we sat at was dirty, we had to clean it ourselves. They weren't busy so they had no excuse not to clean it. The food was so overpriced, the quality wasn't the best. The worst part of it was that our obnoxious waitress was singing on the top of her lungs to the poor choice of music they played. It was such an awful experience.
