7/24/2024 HEAVEN SENT ME AN ANGEL!!!!…read more I am PG and I was charged with not just one but 2 Dui with one of them involving an accident and exceedingly elevated levels of alcohol in my system. These both happened within the same year. I was facing years for making the stupid choice of getting behind the wheel and driving as well as putting the lives of others in jeopardy. The odds were not in my favor, and I accepted that I did not deserve them. Attorney Steven Tomeo agreed to take my case with complete transparency of the possible outcomes for my actions being that my case was severe. He worked diligently with weekly updates on my case and the recommendations. He kept me aware and showed up at every court appearance on time and ready to tackle whatever came our way. He made me feel confident about the outcome and I never worried because I knew in my heart that he was fighting my battle for me. Not only is he reliable and well versed, but he was also reasonable. His work spoke volumes when we went in front of the judge. The best part was that he enabled me to also get the proper help needed to fight the addiction to alcohol moving forward. I feel as though he was more than my attorney but also a Life coach that helped me to see the reality of my situation. He comes recommended with a million stars

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Throughout my interactions with this attorney, I found the level of professionalism to be disappointing. There appeared to be an overwhelming caseload, which often resulted in confusion regarding court dates, meeting times, and case-related communications. Important details were frequently mixed up, creating unnecessary stress and requiring constant follow-up. Communication was another significant concern. Emails were often written in an unprofessional tone, and when mistakes occurred, there was little to no accountability. Instead of acknowledging errors and working collaboratively to resolve them, responsibility was often shifted elsewhere. At the same time, delays from clients or others involved in the case were met with criticism and impatience, creating a frustrating double standard. Perhaps most concerning was the overall lack of confidence this experience inspired. Professionalism, organization, accountability, and respect are qualities clients should expect from legal representation, and unfortunately, those qualities were consistently lacking in my experience. If this review is challenged or dismissed simply because the attorney claims not to recognize the situation or disputes the feedback, that would only reinforce the concern. Clients have a right to share honest experiences, whether positive or negative. This review reflects my genuine experience and opinion based on direct interactions. I would encourage anyone considering representation to carefully evaluate whether this attorney's communication style, organization, and professional conduct align with their expectations before retaining services.

After spending over 50K in legal fees on two lawyers and losing years of my life trying get terms…read moreof separation agreement settled, I really needed to make sure of my next selection. Melanie did what the other 2 lawyers didn't do. SHE GOT RESULTS! Lucky for me, the third time was the charm. I found out about Melanie Solomon on the Mass Super Lawyers list. I am proof of why Melanie is on that list. Melanie gave me great advice on whether to pursue possible legal action versus just going after retirement funds owed to me. Melanie's only interests and concerns were to do what was best for her client. My case was very challenging as my uncooperative ex-wife moved out of state to Florida and the retirement funds were moved to a different company. Melanie was very organized and kept tabs on my case to keep things moving. She persisted and pushed things along till it's successful conclusion. What stood out to me was that Melanie was a true professional. My case was probably one of her smallest cases, but she cared, accepted full responsibility of my case and I always felt like she was giving me the same effort of her more lucrative cases. Melanie's billing was more than fair and offered great value. My only regret is that I didn't select Melanie from the start. In my heart, I know Melanie would have got things done once, right and the first time. SELECTING THE RIGHT LAWYER CAN BE A LIFE CHANGING AND CONSEQUENTIAL DECISION. Selecting Melanie Solomon will be one of the best decisions you can make.

His paralegal really keeps on top of the process throughout the days (or weeks in our case) that things are getting sorted out and she also kept good lines of communication with our broker. When the closing day finally came Attorney Rubin was wonderful about sitting down to read through all the paperwork so that we UNDERSTOOD what we were signing. My boyfriend bought a home elsewhere in CT just a few years back before relocating for a job, and his major complaint with his previous real estate lawyer was that she didn't review paperwork with him and basically just expected him to sign away. When he tried to read, the lawyer accused him of not trusting her! Crazy considering you don't normally meet your closing attorney until the closing. I've already recommended Attorney Rubin's office to one friend having a tough time buying a foreclosure and I'd recommend him to YOU too!

Lisa always responded to my emails instantly and she knew what she was doing, in terms of how my daughter should prepare (gather evidence about the ticket as well as her good record and character), how many ways the cop fumbled writing up the ticket, and even which judges are better/worse. She also arranged to move the hearing date so that my daughter didn't have to make a trip to the area during summer break. Although it was probably a slam dunk case, we didn't know that until Lissa looked into things, and she gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Of course she got the charge dismissed. Yay, Lissa!

She's an ambulance chaser-useless so BEWARE. You have been warned I have to give her 1 STAR and her services aren't even worth that,no I didn't take her ridiculous offer.

Once again it would appear that my sibling has paid for the services of a lawyer (Attorney Billy…read moreFlynn Gadbois), who does not appear to do his job (out of the many jobs it would appear he has). The reason my sibling chose this establishment is due to the recommendation received from someone we know, who had utilized Jayme Stamper for her divorce and had a great experience with her. Where my sibling was falsely accused of things, that required a lawyer's expertise in numerous areas, Attorney Billy Flynn Gadbois fit the description for those services. With that being said, my sibling signed a contract with Attorney Gadbois and paid a decent amount of funds (approx. $4,000 retainer) up front for his services. As with the attorney he had previous, however, the services seem to start off great and then wane over time. For example, numerous attempts were made to reach out to Attorney Gadbois on various occasions, whether its via text or email, and the responses received (if received) are not as prompt as they should be as outlined in the "MA Rules of Professional Conduct for Lawyers" (FYI, Attorney Gadbois is licensed via the Board of Bar Overseers in both MA& CT). As per those guidelines, I am under the stipulation that when a client pays for the professional services for that of a legal representative, they SHOULD NOT have to reach out numerous times to RECEIVE A RESPONSE! That in itself, is poor customer service; reflecting poorly on the legal counsel himself and the law-firm he works for. Another complaint is that this lawyer HAS NOT EVER presented my sibling with monthly statements during the periods in which he served as his council. When my sibling discovered that Attorney Gadbois was leaving this particular law-firm, he was then finally presented with itemized billing which appeared to list numerous services that were not completely fulfilled (e.g. grandparent rights that were never granted and etc.). With the court systems closed and the fact that my sibling had to do some of the legwork himself, how is it that over $3,500 of a $4,000 retainer could have been spent when the lawyer did not appear to render the services as stated in those itemized billing statements? Oh sure, the divorce aspect he was hired for was granted to my sibling's spouse, but what about my sibling and the fact that he was not seen his child for over two years? Knowing that Mr. Gadbois is a father himself, it makes me wonder how he would feel if he couldn't see his own kids for a few years on account of lie. I find it genuinely frustrating that the only one who appears to have benefited from the services of Attorney Gadbois was my sibling's spouse, who was granted the divorce she wanted. How is it that my sibling was able to find another lawyer, graciously accept a large sum of money, only to support the opposing party? Should not my sibling have been the one to benefit from the services he paid for? On that note, these are the current frustrations regarding this lawyer and the firm of whom he worked for. I genuinely hope that the superior of this law-firm will see this review (i.e. considering he has given his own establishment a 5 star rating on Yelp) and that he strives to take necessary steps to review these complaints and resolve them. If they do, I will happily change my review; if not, this will be used for others to review especially when they are in need of legal services. For those of you who have likewise paid for legal assistance and have likewise found yourself a victim, please don't hesitate to file your complaint against the attorney and or the law-firm via the Board of Bar Overseers in the state in which they are licensed. Even if you do not get results and the BBO does not have enough information to render disciplinary action accordingly, the more complaints they have on file against the individual(s) who have failed to provide you with a service you paid for, the better the chances are that such an individual will receive the correction they need. Together we can all make a difference and protect others from becoming the next victim.
