We saw Dr Noland several times over the following days and were genuinely impressed with her attentiveness, confidence and general demeanor. Given her style and situation (as a mid-career doctor with young children of her own), I can certainly understand why many new mothers gravitate to her as a primary pediatrician. And while we are quite happy with our primary doctor's "old school" approach, we've confidently recommended Dr Noland to friends and would be happy to see her more regularly ourselves.

On the negative side, it's a pain to get an appointment for regular appointments because this is an extremely popular practice & the front desk can be downright surly if you dare to ask a question during their catered lunch from 12-1:30. Nonetheless, I live with that inconvenience for my kids.
