We LOVED working with Tim!…read more Tim is engaging and warm, he helped us feel comfortable and easy while still feeling confident. If you're looking for a photographer to shoot your wedding, I highly recommend Tim. We spent several weeks looking through wedding photographers and very carefully considering who we wanted to work with, and I'm so glad we went with Tim - he more than exceeded what we were looking for. Tim shot our wedding in Lakewood Colorado - we chose to work with Tim because we loved how honestly he captures the different personalities of his subjects. Finding a wedding photographer was challenging because a lot of the dedicated "wedding photographers" have a singular style, and frankly they seem overpriced, with a lot of tack-on / add-ons to build an up-sell model. And then there are more "budget-friendly" photographers where you just don't feel confident that you're going to get great shots. A lot of the "firms" or teams of people will also have surprisingly long turn around times, but we got a great collection of "sneak peeks" immediately after our wedding and a full set of ~600 photos in under a week - I've been involved in a few larger photoshoots and this is a VERY FAST turnaround. With Tim we had the best of both worlds - he charges a fair price and the shots are AMAZING. It was a surreal experience to go back and see just how happy we look, and this is in large thanks to Tim's great photography.

We can't say enough good things about working with Tim and are blown away by his amazing talent!!…read more He took our daughter's senior photos last year and recently took our son's senior photos. He has an incredible gift for making people feel comfortable during the photo session and has a great eye for the perfect setting, pose and lighting. We would highly recommend considering Tim for any of your photography needs!!

She actually did the photos for a friend's wedding, and one of the photos from that wedding was so beautiful and artistic that we fell in love instantly. I can tell you she delivered in a big way. After we hired her, she met with us for brunch, and we discussed what our wants for the day. I'll admit, I was initially shocked to see the cost for wedding photography in general when I started my wedding planning journey, but I can tell you her prices were in line with other photographers in the area. (Obviously there were a few photographers just breaking in to the business who were much cheaper, but they also didn't have the experience and talent that Maddie and some of the other more experienced photographers had.) Maddie offers an array of photo packages and options, and she offers a few fun add-ons too, so you can absolutely create a package tailored for smaller budgets. Our budget didn't allow for the beautiful custom photobooks or the most expensive package, and I never felt pressured to get the most expensive packages or extra hours. We did opt for the photobooth, which was awesome. It was a professional camera with a professional photographer, and the photos were impressive for a photobooth. (We actually shuttled a lot of the extended family members over to the photobooth for some fun photos, but also got some quality portraits from the booth too!) I've been to several weddings with photobooths, and a lot of times, they're cheaper cameras with cheesy backgrounds, but I'm telling you these photos were awesome. Additionally, they were all uploaded onto their website for everyone to download full-quality photos at their leisure Before the big day, she carefully went through all the different planned photos/group photos and made sure we had a list of all the shots we wanted, and she made them happen. I have a very large family, so there were a lot of group photos to get through. On the big day, she quickly learned the names of EVERYONE for the group photos and wrangled the groups well to keep everyone on track, which was an impressive feat in itself. I was skeptical that we'd be able to do so many group photos and keep things running on schedule, but she made it happen, and she even had time left over to throw in a few extra fun bridal party photos that we didn't get earlier in the day. Overall, the day was a blast, but Maddie made it even more fun by being our photographer. She was fun to be around, and she made my family and friends at ease when they were in front of the camera. As for the photos, I am in awe. I am a fairly self-conscious person, and I was nervous about how the photos would turn out since I've grown up always hating a majority of photos that I'm in. I can tell you I love each and every photo (even the ones where I'm very obviously crying), and it's not from over-editing or retouching. She simply had the right timing and lighting and angles EVERY SINGLE TIME. Maddie is a magician, and I would hire her over and over and over again.

What a wonderful and smart decision it was to hire Madison Yen as my business photographer…read more From the very first conversation, to receiving the photos, she was a delight to work with. Very attentive at listening to the branding that I wanted to convey and confident enough to offer and provide the best ideas to get the desired results. She is very talented and I loved her light hearted energy. The photo session was really creative and fun and she was so patient. You can tell by the way that she treats you, that each client is truly important to her. I love having these beautiful photos in all of my marketing and I definitely recommend her to you. He is flexible enough to do whatever we wanted for formal shots and creative enough to capture images we never considered. We had our ceremony outside followed by a tented reception at our property on the South Platte River. It was so important to us to capture the people and place we love most in the world and Tony managed this perfectly. The memories of or wonderful wedding day will last forever.

I don't know how, there's got to be some magic in there somewhere... don't believe me? Check out the website gallery on his site www.tonygallagherphotography.com. (The wedding photography almost makes me want to get married, just so I can have an excuse to have the same wedding photography!!!) Back to the review at hand... Tony met us at Wash Park, They say that photographing children or animals is exceptionally challenging, and considering my son is a hybrid between child and animal... Tony was incredible at managing the rowdy little guy and taking pictures we will treasure for our lifetimes. It was nothing short of a miracle, frankly. Sometimes you don't know you're in the hands of a professional until it happens. It's like if you've spent your entire adult life only eating out at chain restaurants, and then you eat your first dinner in Fine Dining. All of a sudden you realize that the Applebee's and Chili's teenage waitresses, though certainly polite and occasionally competent, are complete hacks compared to the professional service at the Capital Grill or Mizuna. Also, Tony was considerate and polite about my, um, flaws, as well. Instead of saying, "Hey lady, wanna do something about that double chin?" he politely requested, "Point your chin toward the camera." Sure, it's just semantics, but the tone certainly put me at ease. The Post-shoot care is exceptional as well, I stopped into his studio to view the slideshow of the best 20-30 images, and he helped me pick out the best ones to hang in my house.
