My hope was that once I painted the ceilings, replaced all the floorings and thoroughly washed all the walls that the smell would disappear. It didn't. I was so discouraged as I was trying to prep this house for sale and thought no one will buy it in it's current stinky condition; I couldn't even stay there and was staying at hotels because the smell was so sickening and gave me headaches. After a web search I found EcoVive, started reading their blog posts which described the problems I was facing and how they could remedy it. They were great on the phone, explained the process, set up an appointment for the following week, did their work without supervision (I live 3 hours away), cleaned up any mess they may have made, were eager to hear if I was satisfied once I returned to the home... When I walked in the following weekend it was like walking into an entirely new house! The smell was GONE, it was a game changer! I originally figured I'd have to paint over all that beautiful pine and tear out the cabinets before I could list and sell, or drastically reduce the asking price due to the smell. After the smell was gone I re-worked my budget (since I saved so much money not painting over the pine and not replacing cabinets) and was able finish up the renovation and get it on the market 2 months sooner than I had anticipated. They did a great job, the price for the service was better than fair and their ozone treatment really did the job. Highly recommend!
