We contacted her due to all the great reviews, she sounded great at first, but when we asked her to get us more information on 2 properties we are interested in she was very slow to respond. Finally we got ahold of her and she said she was too busy and had too many clients to help us. Having worked with many real estate professionals, I can say that Sara Walker is an exceptional agent. On one of our many annual trips to Ashland, we finally decided to buy a second home in this wonderful town. Sara was prompt, precise, and intuitive about helping us find a terrific property in a location that we thought was out of reach. We looked at many properties and exhausted all that met our "search criteria." None really floated our boat. But Sara knew what we were really looking for, and turned us onto a home that was just a hair over budget and poised to get back on the market. Given its location and view, it was a great value. As soon as the property came back on the market, Sara used her seasoned negotiation skills to outbid our competitors. The way she structured our offer ensured against overpaying. So we got the place without leaving money on the table. But Sara did not just stop there. It was high season for building professionals, so it would have taken weeks to line up the inspection. Knowing we were leaving town soon, she pulled out the stops and tracked down not only a general inspector but also a chimney inspector, plumber, and landscape architect -- all of whom we met in the space of five days. Because of her years of experience, she ordered a scope of our sewage main, which uncovered roots in the main sewer line, a repair that might have otherwise cost us close to $10,000. Sara negotiated that repair into our final price and arranged for the repair to come out of escrow, which saved us a bundle of out-of-pocket cash.
