Where do I start? I had never done a lash lift before so my nerves about dropping a chunk of change for my very stubbornly straight lashes were a little at a high. Sara not only was able to rearrange her schedule so I could come in last minute, but she honestly is one of the sweetest souls out there. She invites you into this very professional set up room in her home, talks you through every step she does, and I got a little therapy session too. And that's just the process! My lashes are BEAUTIFUL! I'm not the wake up early to do hair & makeup kind of girl, but with my lashes I've been waking up feeling like I already did. There's only a handful of lashes that didn't seem to catch the lift on the inner corner of my right eye, but I'm going to sum it up to my stubborn lashes as everything else is GORGEOUS! I am pretty sure I've worn mascara every day of my life since 9th grade...until last week. I got a lash lift and tint and wow, let me tell you what a difference it makes. Full disclosure, I have pretty long lashes, they are just super straight so you can't see them until I curl them and apply mascara. After this lift, my lashes are perfectly curled and fluffy. Sara is an extremely talented makeup artist. She did my makeup for my wedding this past month. In addition to me, she worked on my sisters and Maid-of-Honor. I loved how professional Sara was - timely, reasonable in her negotiations, and the no-drama. That aside, what I loved most was the IMPECCABLE work that Sara did. To be completely honestly, I was extremely picky when it came to picking a makeup artist for my wedding. I generally do my own makeup and finding the right makeup artist was very difficult for me because my face doesn't hold a lot of makeup well. I was also very worried because, in my experience, most makeup artists have simply looked at my honey-colored, round eyes and decided to give me smoky eyes, which is a quick trick that does not work on me (it makes me look extremely dark and sad). When I relayed this to Sara during our trial, she really listened to me. She did two different styles on my face during the trial (each half of the face was done in different, complementary colors). I loved both and had a hard time deciding. After I decided (with her good advice), she re-did my entire face with the makeup that we had decided on for the wedding and I was able to get a feel for the look for the rest of the day. On my wedding day, Sara and her assistant came to my house like true professionals at 8:00 a.m. sharp. She set everything up in a clean manner, and did my makeup with people talking, working around her, and everyone coming in and out of the room. She was quick, but didn't skimp on any details (I mention this because I am sooooo impatient wen someone is working on my face, I just cannot sit there and have them applying moisturizer/base/foundation for an hour). Sara did a gorgeous job on my wedding makeup and I was so happy. I got compliments throughout the wedding and the entire night of dancing. Did I mention that there was lots of dancing? Sara used such good-quality products that her makeup stayed on from 8 a.m. when she first started applying it through 1 a.m. when the wedding stopped.
